Choose based off your preferred play style. AT series is obviously going to be a lot more campy with tons of armor, but at teir 10 you get a huge gun. Comet gives you a much more maneuverable play style and offers the chance to branch off into a much faster light tank style, or a brawler.
Neither are necessarily bad tanks or bad lines. Its entirely up to how you preform better at playing.

British Lights are probably a better desicion long term.
I have the AT 7 and I think its amazing in the right positions and situations. That doesn't mean the other tanks in the line will be though.
