Since missiles are gone, i think the problems with the game is mostly down to the balancing of tanks, and the quick progression of TT tanks due to the 5.5 update right? Maybe even some map balancing issues.

 I don't think 5.5 was a real problem for quick tech tree progression (if that is indeed a problem). As far as I understand it 5.5 was to cut down on seal clubbers. Thinning low tiers gets rid of like... 30k experience worth of playtime for a given line at most. 

 

If rapid tech tree progression is a problem I think it has been exacerbated far more by tons of xp boosters, free xp given away in more frequent events, more crates, and now clan missions.
