I made this thread out of pure boredom and curiosity, so if you've already seen this information in some way or form know that no effort was lost in the creation of this thread.

ALL STATISTICS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. THIS INFORMATION IS NOT FINAL.

Now that we're through the introduction, let's get onto some pictures!

Spoiler

I think WG has done a very good job on the visuals of this tank. I'll be interested to see what kind of 3D effect they will give the Icebreaker, as they've done some sort of 3D visual for every battlepass tank so far.

Statistically, the Icebreaker is almost identical to the Tiger 131. The only differences that I can see at the moment, is that the Icebreaker has 5mm more standard pen than the 131 (150mm vs 145mm) and 50mm more frontal armor than the 131 (150mm vs 100mm). We'll get to the armor in a second, but I wanted to point out that the cupola on the Icebreaker sticks out further back than the 131. Interestingly, it does count as armor and can be shot.

The Icebreaker's armor is much stronger than the 131, which sort of scares me. Hopefully they tweak it before release, because right now it's essentially the buffed Tiger I armor at tier VI. That's not a very good thing.

Tiger 131 vs 150mm of pen:

Icebreaker vs 145mm of pen:

Tiger I vs 145mm of pen for comparison:

As you can see, the armor is just flat out better than the 131. Say hello to powercreep 131, there's a new Tiger in town.

Well, that's all I have to say. I hope you've enjoyed my monthly TED talk.

What do you guys think about these initial stats of a possible future battlepass Tiger?

All depends on the gun. Will it unseat the VK36.01H?  If it has the mobility of the 131 I don't think so.

The mobility is exactly the same; 11 p/w ratio blech. Good point though, I probably should have added the VK 36.01 (H) for comparison.

The design of the UFP is....different.  Tanks usually try to get rid of shot traps, but this thing has them featured right there on the UFP.

That moment when they release a carbon-copy version of your premium tank that is better in everyway, making your prior purchase utterly irrelevant.

If they give this thing 150mm in the front, they should give the Kuro/131 tanks the same treatment, or buff them in some other way, like speed or gun statistics. Or maybe give this steampunk monstrosity worse mobility to compensate for the increase of armor.

That and the idiotic plates covering up the suspension.  It’s almost like the designer didn’t understand that tank road wheels actually travel up and down.

Yeah, Kuro and 131 should definitely be buffed on the armor too.

I think the armor is fine, it just needs the same engine as the TT Tiger 1

Eh, their armor is kinda trash.  Whenever I see them I know they're easy pens and kills

The Kuro and 131 require angling, side-scraping, and front-scraping to be at their most dangerous. If a person doesn't do those things, their tank will pretty quickly get taken out.

It's not the RNG, the MM, the diameter of your shell, the thickness of your armor, or the number of premium rounds you carry that counts ultimately; it's the courage in your heart, the calmness in your mind, the hope and faith you have in your team, and the way you use what's at your disposal that truly determines Victory.

So I suppose this new tank will be the tier 6 Tiger P?

If only battle pass could be bought with gold, then maybe I could get it :(

they're doing that thing again where they put armor behind the mantlet. new premiums/collectors seem to enjoy this feature a lot, basically doubling mantlet armor.

you lost me at side-scraping, and I’ve been around ;). What should we expect from “less-experienced” players?

The Icebreaker is nice. I ran a few different tanks against it in a training room. It’s a step up in armor from the KMM and 131. The upper armor is red as a tomato with a slight angle against other tier 6 tanks, minus the ARL. When you make a wedge, the LFP is the only thing pennable. Turret, sides, and upper armor is all red.  premium ammo can pen it all day long, but this thing will definitely be a face hugging bully, especially against players that are less experienced. Plus the 8 degrees of gun depression make it easy to manufacture shots with only your turret showing. The turret is solid across the whole area. I think it’s going to be a good performer that’s fun to play.

I just want to know why it has exhaust pipes and a nuclear reactor sticking out the back. The reactor looks good but looks silly beside the pipes.
