Why are there so many 7-0 and 0-7 games?  Because MM is seriously broken.  Why doesn't WOTB fix MM?  WOTB is either incapable, too lazy or too cheap to fix it.

Everyone knows MM is broken.  Quite simply, MM doesn't consider win rate.  That's why there are so many lopsided games.  This is especially so when you have platoons participating.  Serious responses only please!

MM is better than its ever been, historically, unless you're a veteran who still thinks -2/+2 was the way to go.

It actually was terrible back then. Your team could have two tier 8s, four tier 9s, and one tier 10 while their team had two tier 9s and five tier tens.

 

And while I like +2/-2 for the flavor and randomness, I definitely think +1/-1 is better overall.

So you are saying that 5 tier X and 2 tier 9 on red, isn't fair when Green has 2 tier 9 and 5 tier 8?

  My Pershing wants to revive this issue as it still has PTSD from that.

 

P.S. The issue isn't MM, the issue is the player base - everyone gets terrible teams, the trick is to make lemonade out of the lemons and sell it for a profit...
