Once upon a time I was exploring our forum and found a thread starting with this

Why not now? Why not Ribble or someone else at WG do a similar event. They stream themselves, and whoever kills them gets 1,000 gold (pretty sure this was the prize with Sly and Ratbat). Whether it be for the forums only (hopefully) or for the discord server. NA only or one server a week. Could be anywhere from an hour to however longer. I think it’d be really fun for all and would improve the connection between the forumers, other players, and the devs/mods/WG.

 

We had a very productive discussion and as a result such event is coming. It's January 9, don't miss it!

 

First of all, we all have to set a time to start. The poll is here, make your choice please. 

 

Now let's proceed to regulations.

 

• The objective is to kill me (if you are a red) or to protect and help me to survive (if you are a green).
• We play random battles (both Encounter and Supremacy).
• I use tier 10 vehicles only. 
• There will be a special channel in Discord for battle countdown. Make sure you join the server, give yourself NA-server role. Once there is an announcement, give your self a special event role. 
• I have a new bodyguard for every battle. 
• Those who thumb up the hiring message (it will come up a bit later) will be my bodyguards. It means I will invite them to platoon and they should be online and ready. 
• If a red kills me, he receives a 500 gold bonus and Brave stand avatar.
• If I survive, my bodyguard receives a 500 gold bonus and Brave stand avatar.
• If my assassin/bodyguard completes his objective and his team wins he get extra 500 gold. 
• If you take part in this event, track my countdown in Discord and get into battle with me, type ''Run Ribble'' in battle chat to let me know you are a rightful participant of the event. 
• Every winning team player (not assassin/bodyguard) who typed ''Run Ribble'' in battle receives a 100 gold bonus.
• Any player can receive 1000 gold maximum.
• I'll post battle results in Discord channel after every battle. There will be player's name and his bonus. 

 

If there are any questions, let me know. We have some time to discuss everything.

I dont Discord, but when the time is chosen,  I will hitting the battle button on a tier ten tank, hoping to join the battle.   Almost like a mini tournament if you would.  Cheers to Tac & Ribble!

The one problem with this is us Switch players will miss out on the Run Ribble gold award. We don't have battle chat period, so we can't type it out in battle

If the event is on a Saturday here in North America, hopefully no one’s at work. Can only do so much to accommodate for everyone. 

 

This will a great win-win for me. There’s a chance that I can earn some gold and have fun doing it. If that fails, at least I’ll be able to show Ribble exactly how underpowered the Grille 15 is, as it is my signature tank
