Had a game on dead rail yesterday where our SU-122 had lots of company in his spot including a KV-1S, Tiger I, M6, T-43, and Chi-Ri.  I had to play hide and spot the whole game.

Mines had a tiger 2 and at least 2 other heavies broadside in the open trying to cap the whole game while getting shot.  

 

And the raging between these folks over who's the bigger noob is almost comical.

 

These games have been common lately and I don't know of a solution.  Probably should find a willing toon mate to make the pain a little easier.

Acrisis said it best - Pandora’s Box was opened once WG started offering tier 9-10 premiums and they’ve only made it easier to grind since then. The player base has always been bad, but I’d posit that there are more players with low battle counts (sub 1k) in total and as an average playing tiers 9-10 than ever before. 

 

It’s probably an overall good thing for the game bc it means there’s a larger population of players in the top tiers, but it has its drawbacks. Namely that if you have a couple of these players on your team at the same time, or especially in a platoon, it makes it that much harder to overcome. Unis gonna be unis, but for anything less than a unicum, it certainly makes it that much harder to win and degrades the gameplay. 

 

There’s not a solution per se, but I do agree with others that have advocated for the “less efficient” queue in pub matches for players that are below a certain threshold. I don’t know what that threshold is, but call it the bottom 5% of players in game based on winrate.

U kinda wanna smash ur pc when you meet the same 30%ers  sub- 800 battles failtooning in tier10 three times in a roll

Knowing that tier X is a more limited queue, it might be worth waiting two mins before hitting the Battle button again. 100% agree though.

I gotta agree with most of the folks on this topic - yesterday it was like 90% of the player base was taking maroon pills. So bad I couldn't carry in tanks that I normally do top damage/kills. No teamwork, no support, just aimless yoloing by my teammates. I haven't noticed much of an uptick in AFKs but definitely more goose eggs.

After all these years and complaints I have made about MM etc and much to Cru6's credit/statements about carrying teams, I have learned and subscribed to the idea of simply playing the most broken OP tank of the month/year in order to maximize the chances of carrying said teams.

 

I have simply begun to play my Annie most of the time now and do 3k+ per match most times (averaging 2.2k overall) and in half the matches I simply do as much damage as my team combined.  I no longer feel any shame in doing so because of having to deal with Dracs, Helsings and Smashers for so long.

 

I have not decided which tank is the most OP for T8 so far...and when I get bored of the Ann or they nerf it I will dedicate my time to w/e that may be.

 

TLDR:  Lessons learned, play the most OP tank, profit, chuckle at the 40%ers and delete half the enemy team in order to carry the matches.

I wasn’t making a MM rant, just a ‘awe, one of those mornings/days/evenings’ post.   
    Small subsets of games can be skewed either way.   
 

I know I’m not god enough to influence battles more, and I pointed out I made many errors and died early too often.

Besides I'll tell you that I agree 100% with you on the major point: I hate the guys stating "this game is rigged" etc.

I never did that; I never thought that. 

Neither when I started the game (losing battle after battle).

Because is (or it should be) simple logic even for a 12yo kid.

 

It means also that it is really something different from being nub or not good at the game.

I can understand it but I don't support it.

 

I like better using the tank that I want to use, 

And if I keep being just a decent player I will live with that.

7 battles 28% winrate today. Delete the game because weekends and events are even worse. Reload on Monday maybe. This game is really starting to blow. Why bother even trying. And that's gonna make the player base even worse.  WG doesn't seem to care so why should I. On the plus side I broke into the 55% range, I'm shooting for under 50%. It's gonna take a long time but I have faith.

But is winning in an Annihilator fun?    
   Maybe to some, and that’s fine, but it has no interest to me, it’s my least played tier 7 heavy as I parked it at Lucky 13, I’d aced it on the second game, and now I just pull it out to meme tier 8 tournaments.  

The nice thing about Blitz, is people are free to play whatever tank they want.  
   I enjoy playing more challenging tanks, but that’s me.

I played 40 games in the Smasher and 20 games in the Annhilator.

 

I think they're bad for the game.
