I am thinking on which one i should purchase and or research. I have the ltwt and t49 unlocked, can get the ru, same with amx. Which one do you guys think i should keep? t49 will be purchased asap, but idk about the other 3. btw, i dont spend money on videogames so no premiums

AMX. Because of Autoloader, and small size. T49 is fun, but it VERY expensive to run and the gun is very unstable at times. You will sometimes miss  or bounce perfectly aimed shots

Ltwt is probably the best all-around. T49 second for fun factor. Ru251 third. AMX last because the magazine reload sucks for the alpha. It pales in comparison to the tier 7 AMX and tier 9/10 Batchats.

LtWt is a medium tank that masquerades as a light.

  The FV 301 is solid, as well, and probably the second best Light in tier 8 for most players after the LtWt.

 

The T49 is an absolute beast - but it's not ideal for novice players, as the 152 takes ammunition selection knowledge and positioning skill (plus some favorable RNGesus) - and it bleeds credits as most most targets HE (the Premium ammo) is the most effective choice.

 

The RU is a fantastic tank, but like the 49 is a paper, and you can't always DPM your way out of a bad spot - so it has a higher skill ceiling that the LtWt or FV.

 

The AMX is at best mediocre and as Ronin said, a little bit of a let down in the line.

Unless you’re really good in the T49 you’re gonna regret getting it unless you have premium time.  That tank is like a vacuum on your credits

This should help you decide. Granted, these are unicum stats but it shows what tanks those players do well in.

The AMX is 2nd. It is very capable in the right hands.

The T49 is just overrated to me. I actually run the non-derp gun so it plays more like a light. I don't have the same issue with the T92E1, just the T49.

I like all the tier 8 light tanks! The AMX 13 90 was just buffed last patch, got 2 seconds shaved off the reload. It was also a very real tank, exported to many nations for use. 

 

T49 is very expensive to run properly, so it's suggested you get some premium time for when you run it (the HE shells are premium, so they cost more). 

 

Fv301 has the best viewrange and a quick gun. The lights after it are really good too. The low alpha makes you work hard for damage, so it's not as "peaceful" a playstyle as the AMX or T49 (which can unload and flee in cover).

 

I have less experience with the RU 251 and T54 Ltwt, so others can give better feedback.

I have a lot of fun in tier 8 lights, but little success.  It's always a damper on win rate and credits.

 

But I always smile when I hit battle in my T49.  It's an emotional rollercoaster.

Ha... welp i feel like i could o great in the ru because i play the dog very weirdly... Its a great tank idk why all the youtubers hate it. Its a beautiful tank. (mobility can be used for so much more than getting into position)

And i have already played the t49 its amazing and its gun doesnt troll me very often. I like derpy tanks. I had to sell it bcause i was draining my credits and not grinding my (formerly) stock t54
