Cru6, you may have not liked my idea to push WG to move, but their response that it didn’t really impact MM is such a joke.  You agree with me that they are a problem, you just don’t like my solution.  
 

My solution is for us to spam the Annihilator and make the problem more apparent.  WG needs constant reminders to make them “listen” to the community.   I’m telling you it was folks ability to abuse a mechanic (non line of sight missiles) that made them move.  There were only a few folks who spammed the Sheridan and were good at it.   Now we have loads of Annies wrecking the tier so we need to convince WG it is in fact a MM problem.   
 

Don’t buff everything around it.  Take a heavy nerf bat to the Annie (or move it to tier 8) and let folks sell the tank for 10k gold.   I actually like the idea of not nerfing it and moving it to tier 8.   It’s pen values would really struggle at tier 9 and make it an interesting challenge (I’d keep the tank).   I think 10k gold is an outrageous amount of gold for a $15 tank, but I really don’t think people will be upset.  However, looks like no end in sight so how do you propose it gets fixed because derision from the playerbase isn’t working my friend?

All of it was very amusing as usual..wasted time..but amusing.  We of course love the Anni and Smasher answer and vindication of it's users...er abusers....ah players.

Answer: WG doesn’t give a Rodents Rear End about tier 7 balance.  
   Spamming them won’t change anything, they are already being spammed.

Actually, you are probably right.  There’s so much spam of it now, my recommendation makes little difference.  The Annie toon is quite strong now as well.  I’d expand it to say WG only cares about balance at tier 10 so it doesn’t look silly on tourney streams.  Even then, it took way too long to do something about missiles.

Until it impacts their bottom line, real or perceived, there won’t be any changes. They likely made a pretty penny on that event so I don’t see them wanting to make any changes, regardless of the impact it’s having in game. 
 

It still pisses me off though that they’re all about “balance”, yet they’ve implemented two completely broken tanks without any testing whatsoever. Which highlights one of the biggest issues I have with WG - they are completely inconsistent with their policies and procedures.

Possibly it’s Russian logic, but I suspect that on some of this there’s an  internal argument going on, and probably has been for some time. I could be reading the tea leaves wrong, though.

Is the only reason wargaming is not nerfing premiums because of a T-22 nerf that was well deserved on the PC version? The players who got the T-22 from a event cheated in some way because WG made the grind too tedious. These players (yes these cheaters) had to cry out loud and beg WG for a refund so now instead of properly balancing premiums, they just powercreep them just because some cheaters whined.

I think it's because when they nerfed the T26E4 and Type 59 on PC the players cried so much that they not only offered refunds, but never nerfed another premium again. I think they're scared of the backlash and potential loss of sales.

 

At least that's my understanding of it.

A premium tank gets nerfed and people take out their pitchforks.

 

A premium tank that is "broken" stays untouched and people still take out their pitchforks.
