Just got the grille
Fascinating gun
Ok straight line mobility too.
Although wg is buffing the grille line with spall liner
I don't think thats what the grille needs.
I personally think the grille needs a traverse buff and a heat/he pen buff (334~350)/(75~80)
Any Thoughts?

Not the traverse buff, it would be OP, you could get you targets anywhere and anytime. He and heat pen buff, yeah. That would be good. HE~90-95 HEAT~340-350 would be great. It does look like it should have that, with the giant gun.

What it really needs is a MUCH better camo rating. Everything else can stay the same.

I'm at the wt. I'm not sure if I should get the Grille because I hear people say the wt is better.

The Grille has a kind of fun factor because the gun is a laser, and the shell velocity feels almost instantaneous. I'm not sure the numbers but it feels much faster than the WT.

That all said I absolutely adore the WT and I play it far more regularly than the Grille. Not only can you beat on tier 8s as easily as tier 10s, but because of its slightly reduced mobility and full turret traverse, you can play it more laid back. It's a great tank for chilling and derping some monkeys (while winning) if you're having a bad day in other tanks. Without a doubt one of my favorites. I worry that they'll overcook it by giving it the OP consumables and then nerf some other aspect of it unnecessarily.

Agreed.

I mean, 334 pen on a 15 cm is just laughable

Thats medium prammo territory

I like the Grille. It is a fun tank and I like the mobility which really helps you relocate if you are spotted. Something I tried in a recent game just for fun was that I played the Grille like a medium, by playing at the front and pushing forward with the team. Surprisingly it worked and I ended the game with just over 5,000 damage and a first class.

I've seen a player frontline on Mines in a Death Star, and get top damage and survive. Anything is possible!

I play the Grille as a scout and typically get 5-6 spots right at the beginning and even 7 at times.  Not much damage, but the greens know where all the reds are.  One time I got so far behind enemy lines that all the reds were distracted trying to kill my Grille running around behind the lines that the greens steamrollered them winning 7-1.  I was the one dead.  Afterwards a red was whining on global chat at how the yoloing Grille ruined their team.

you mean is4 prammo territory? that's 6 short of 340....the .27 accuracy helps you shoot weak spots as well.

the 15cm e100 has the same pen of 334.

I heard that it might get a spall liner, which might make it a little better. Absolutely needs better camo though.

279/334 is pretty bad pen considering most tier ten TDs have 290/380 pen.

Great players blame themselves.

yes. most td's don't have the best accuracy in the game.
