Explorer's armor is fine. In tanks parameters menu you can see the thickness of the largest armor plate. For Cromwell it's a vertical plate (64 mm). For Explorer it's a part of angled frontal plate (25 mm). It's because these two tanks have a slightly different armor groups. But the vertical plate (64 mm) is the same for both tanks.

he is right though. i just checked:

the Explorer actually has a smaller profile from the looks of it and it seems like it has better frontal armor due to the shape and smaller lower plate.

the part with spaced armor over it, will be a autobounce area from what it looks like. (though it will more than likely bounce rounds into the upper plate)

but the areas with 25mms will be easy for 76mm+ guns to pen if there is the overmatch system on here that is.

 

edit: what i mean by smaller profile is:

the upper and lower plates are both much smaller than the other cromwells.

the turret is somewhat smaller too from the looks of it.

the cupola is also a little smaller.

 

the frontal armor seems to be the best of the 3 on this tank.

 

you may find this hard to believe, but the solar panels also count as 10mms of spaced armor.

ALSO!!!!!! PLEASE READ:

the dark green area on the engine deck is the Engine, it has a exposed engine.

that green area is 0mms of armor.

besides that tho, the battle pass still remains the best purchase that can be made in the game, by far. if you're doing it for the gold alone, you're getting a great deal. if you're doing it for the free xp, credits, camouflages, boosters, xp certs, and avatars all alone, you're still getting a great deal. one battle pass completed to level 80 with the premium pass has been calculated to be worth over 150 USD, and that doesn't seem to be changing.

 

edit: my only complaint with these events is how repetitive they can be. i wish we would get a 1 month Battle Pass for 10 USD that had double the stages and progress would go x2 as fast. that would free up a month with no battle pass where people could relax and not feel obliged to do missions, while WG could host a different event or do their largest tournament during that time, so that stuff is still going on.

I really don't give a [edited]anymore. Everyone should by the battle pass, everyone should by all the premiums that come out, everyone should spend money on gold, No one should do their own research on tanks And events. And everyone should listen to these guys.

since you changed the tier 4 battlepass tank, is the earn event for the Sherman Sheridan missile still happening?
