The Panther 8.8, Panther M10, and Tiger 131 just came to the shop. They are sold together for a great deal, only 8,000 gold for all three. You can also buy these tanks individually for a good price. I am wondering which, if any, I should get. I already have the Icebreaker, but I think the historical camo on the 131 looks a lot better and the 131 has a little more dpm. I am not really thinking about the Panther M10 because I have heard it isn’t very good and that the tech tree Panther is better. I haven’t heard very much about the Panther 8.8 though. I really enjoyed the Panther 2 when I was playing through it to get the E 50 M. Would the Panther 8.8 and/or the Tiger 131 be good tanks to get? Any information is appreciated.

the Icebreaker is the best tier 6 tiger, who needs a little more DPM when you have armor? the panther 8,8 looks to be a Panther I hull with a panther II turret and the top 88mm on the panther II. so i think it should be a good tank.

the panther I's hull is only 10mms less than the panther II's in the front, so i would imagine it shouldnt be much of a issue unless the hull is less angled on the panther I.

 

really, it looks like a premium panther II.

also, it seems to have better specs in a lot of areas over the regular TT panther II actually...

Tiger 131:  just looks cool. Almost like the Icebreaker which was $5

 

Panther/M10-a tank that was so weak it only ever saw Tier VIII in the old MM. Now? very difficult tank to play if you aren't great...note I didn't say good.

 

Panther 8.8- almost the exact same as the Panther II. Think Churchill VI vs. Churchill VII. 

 

This bundle isn't even worth 5000 gold IMO.

I only own Tiger 131 of those three so I’l give my opinion on it; if you have the icebreaker don’t buy it. Don’t get me wrong, Tiger 131 is a fun tank but just kind of power crept by the icebreaker. However, I would recommend it if you are a collector or you like history.

I wouldn't buy any of them. 

The Tiger 131 is just a clone of the icebreaker or the GuP Tiger

The Panther/M10 is one of the worst tanks in the game (just play a T23e3 if you want a premium, or a Comet if not)

The Panther 88 is a faster Panther2 (already a bad tech tree tank) with worse armor. I'd pass on this one too. 

 

None of these tanks are really worth it imo, wait until the prog46, chimera, defender etc. come back on sale and get one of them instead. I'd rather have 1 really good tank instead of 3 mediocre/bad ones.

I have the Tiger 131, and I think it's a decent tank to play, but I just love the way it looks.

I'll probably end up playing a 1000 games in it just because of the way it looks.

Panther 88 actually looks pretty good on paper. I don't think Panther II's notoriety ever went away, so that's probably why everyone seems so reluctant. But both of those tanks have come a long way, just sayin...

I was tempted but. I have 131 already. The Ersatz Panther looks like hot garbage (worse than the PC version). And the Panther 8.8 pretty much is the same as it is in the PC world: a slightly faster worse armored Panther @ Tier VIII. The P8.8 didn’t do well in PC and it’s stigma followed me over to Blitz and am still reluctant to try it.

I got the Panther 8.8, and I’m liking it so far. I guess what makes it a good deal or not is if you liked the Panther 2. The 8.8 is a great premium if you like to play a second line medium tank, and it makes great credits.

 Not really. DPM looks good, but mobility looks pretty sad. I think Im gonna pass on it...again.

Armors been bumped up. And with provisions and equipment, power to weigh would look decent enough. Im not expecting a full on RU but at least something faster than a cent.
