They are. But my point was that many buffs and nerf’s haven’t been solely based on WG’s published balance charts.
The 215b if left with its pre 8.2 stats would be a meta tank. I mean people like to rage about how it needed a buff before 8.2 but frankly it was still an excellent tank that required skill and understanding to play well.
Let’s face it the 2.7+ med nerfs never would have occurred from strict balancing charts - they occurred due to Twister 7 v 7 Obj 140 battles — the same reasoning went into the T49 nerf, it wasn’t over performing in balance charts - but it was being used to dramatic effect by SU’s and this was nerfed.
Yeah I can see that, especially with respect to tournaments.
Whoever dreamed up that tank turns with turrett setting is on drugs.
No one could possibly play with that idiotic setting turned on.

Wg doesn't listen to the players in any way shape or form.
The fact that all of the World of warships community contributors just quit en masse proved that beyond a shadow of doubt.
WG isn't a monolith, it's not the same management team running WoW/WoT/WoTB. What goes on at WoW doesn't necessarily translate to Blitz. The management culture yes, decisions not so much.

Different development teams and while I don’t agree with many of the Blitz decisions, the reversal on missiles and spare parts were both huge.

You guys are just waking up to this fact? Wow the forum propaganda really snowed you guys. But don't worry the M10 panther will be on sale soon and it's really not as bad as players say. So make sure you buy it. And go on and keep on believing the stuff they are shoveling.
Oh brother.

Oh brother.
Tier 7 was never a balanced tier.
WG only cares about X balance - and 9 because the direct relationship.
There are much worse tanks in 7 though than the Panther M10

Said the unicom....and there are twice as many better tanks in tier 7.....but every one should buy it any ways. Right? And ya all should spend gold on tanks they took away in 5.5 to teach the seal clubbers a lesson. Because it was about seal clubbing and not about resales and making more money.
Oh brother.....
Can't wait for the MS-1 event.

I didn’t say the Panther M10 wasn’t powercrept, (or even a good tank currently), but it’s not nearly the worst example.
I’m pragmatic enough to see that 7 is a tier filled with OP tanks, and a few totally broken tanks.
It is part of the reason I generally avoid tier 7.
I never sold any of the collector tanks, but I think you are confusing different aspects of 5.5
1) Neuter most tanks in those tiers to make them unfun for seal clubbers
2) Strip the TT to make lines less complicated and easier for players.
3) Make a new player queue to have new player experience not be ruined by seal clubbers who remain.
Now in addition to that:
1) Allows WG to resell old TT tanks
2) Encouraged players to move out of lower tiers making larger queues for ‘paying players’ in the higher tiers.
3) Profit off re-rolls exploiting new player queue
While I enjoyed 5.5, as it gave me more players in higher tiers. I do see why some players - even non serial seal clubbers didn’t like it.
I think 5.5 was poorly structured as they could have done all the ‘stated’ reasons without removing the historic tanks in low tiers.
