The Money Blaster Open starts on February 7. A team from any clan can take part in the tournament! You can earn gold, coins, credits and free XP. The top 16 teams will advance to the Money Blaster Final tournament and compete for $10,000.

Participants of this tournament could not participate in other tournaments which take place at the same time. 

A team can enter the Money Blaster Final tournament only with the same roster and clan in which it registered for the Money Blaster Open tournament.

 

General Requirements

Vehicle tiers: X.

Registration period: from February 4, 4:00 PM (PT) / 7:00 PM (ET) to February 7, 4:00 PM (PT) / 7:00 PM (ET).

Duration: from 7 February to 11 February.

Battles start: 7 February, 6:00 PM (PT) / 9:00 PM (ET).

Control mode: touch.

Maximum number of teams: 128.

Number of players in a team: 7 main players plus up to 3 backup players.

Battle time: 7 minutes.

Battle type: Supremacy.

Interval between battles: 2 minutes.

  • If the minimum required number of team members (players) does not turn up for the battle at the set time, the match will be recognized as lost for this team.
  • A special room for conducting matches will be automatically created 5 minutes prior to the first battle. Check the Notifications section for the invitation.
  • Team membership is fixed and cannot be changed before the end of the tournament.

 

Main provisions of the rules:

  1. No insults of any form towards the Players, Teams, Tournament Organizer, its employees, and Streamers of tournament matches are allowed. Any behavior that could be considered by the Tournament Organizer as offensive, affecting the image of the Team and the Tournament Organizer, is prohibited. In case of a violation of this Rule, the player and/or the team captain will lose 50% of the prize pool (and all unique awards) for each stage for this Tournament.
  2. Players must observe the principles of fair play and the sportsmanship of the competition. Any actions of the player that do not comply with these principles shall be treated as unsportsmanlike conduct and may cause punishment for the player for all Tournament duration, as well as complete forfeiture of the Team prize pool.
  3. There shall be no breach of the Game Rules and other rules of the License Agreement.
  4. It is prohibited to intentionally mislead the Tournament Organizer or other Players using knowingly false information. This violation may cause punishment for the player.
  5. Players must observe the principles of fair play.
  6. It is forbidden to participate in the Tournament using a gaming account registered to another Player.
  7. Any modification of the Game client during the Tournament with the purpose of gaining a gaming advantage is prohibited.
  8. Any arrangements between Players and/or Teams for the purpose of gaining a gaming advantage are prohibited. Collusion shall include, but is not limited to, the following cases:
    • Arranging an agreement or any form of negotiations on the outcome or score of a Match.
    • A deliberately passive play for the purpose of achieving the desired outcome of a Match or deliberate sabotage of the Team's actions for the purpose of achieving the desired outcome of a Match.
  9. It is forbidden to intentionally use any errors (bugs) or failures of the Game with the purpose of gaining a gaming advantage.
  10. The organizer can prohibit participation of team and/or player in this tournament based on violation(s) of previous tournaments regulation. Violation evaluation is held by the Organizer. Organizer decision regarding team and/or player is final and can't be appealed.

 

Possible re-match and match rescheduling:

Circumstances for re-match, cancellation, or postponement of matches are determined by the Tournament Organizer. The organizer reserves the right to change the start time and date of matches, as well as to replay individual matches in a number of situations:

  • In the case of massive technical problems of server nature during the Tournament matches.
  • In the event that the holding of matches at a specified time carries a risk of technical stability of the Tournament.
  • In the case of a technical failure in the calculation of the results of matches.
  • In case there was a massive technical failure when creating tournament rooms and sending invitations to players to the match.
  • In case the Tournament matches do not start at the set time.
  • Other situations not specified in the list, but established by the Organizer as sufficient grounds for postponing, canceling, or replaying the Match.

 

Tournament System and Battle Format

The precise start time of matches will be displayed in the game client after the drawing. 

 

► First Stage

The First stage is held within 1 day by a Double elimination system, groups up to 4 teams. Maximum number of groups is 32, the exact number of groups will be known after the registration for the tournament closes. The maximum duration of the stage is 2 hours 10 minutes. The maps for each round are randomly determined from this list:

1. Rockfield.
2. Desert Sands.
3. Middleburg.
4. Mayan Ruins.
5. Fort Despair.
6. Oasis Palms.
7. Black Goldville.
8. Winter Malinovka.
9. Castilla.
10. Port Bay.
11. Canal.
12. Vineyards.
13. Naval Frontier.
14. Dynasty's Pearl.
15. Alpenstadt.
16. Faust.
17. Normandy.
18. New Bay.
19. Hellas.
20. Yukon.
21. Ghost Factory.

Seeding in the each group is carried out according to principle Strongest-Weakest.

The first spawn point is determined randomly by the automatic tournament system. Two battles are held on the same map with the spawn point swapped after the first battle, then the map is changed.

1-2. Teams that win the first round of the Upper Bracket advance to the Upper Bracket finals, the losers fall into the Lower Bracket.
3. The winner of the Upper Bracket final goes to the final of the first stage, the loser goes to the Lower Bracket final.
4. Next, the first round of the Lower Bracket is held, the loser is eliminated from the Tournament, the winner goes to the final of the Lower Bracket.
5. The second finalist is determined in the Lower Bracket final: the winner advances, the loser leaves the Tournament.
6. Both finalists advance to the Second stage of the Tournament after the match for 1st and 2nd place.

The precise start time of matches will be displayed in the game client after the drawing. Start times of matches in the rules and the actual time may be different.

All maps are playing in the "Supremacy" battle type. The format: Bo5 (up to 3 victories).
If the groups of the third stage are fully formed, the 1st and 2nd places of each group pass to the Money Blaster Final tournament. If there are free slots, the 3rd place teams may also get a pass (the number of battles won will be compared). If necessary, the organizers also have the right to make an additional tournament Last Chance.

Matches on 11 February (approximate time)

  • First Upper Bracket round — 6:00 PM (PT) / 9:00 PM (ET). 
  • Upper Bracket Final — 6:50 PM (PT) / 9:50 PM (ET). 
  • First Lower Bracket round — 6:50 PM (PT) / 9:50 PM (ET). 
  • Lower Bracket Final — 7:40 PM (PT) / 10:40 PM (ET). 
  • Final of the third stage — 8:30 PM (PT) / 11:30 PM (ET). 

 

Streaming

The Organizer reserves the right to add, for any Matches, spectators to one or both Teams for the purpose of streaming Matches. Links to streams will be added a day before the start of Matches.

  • I place — 8 200 000 credits, 69 000 free XP, 24 500 coins.
  • II place — 7 200 000 credits, 60 000 free XP, 15 500 coins.
  • III place — 6 200 000 credits, 52 000 free XP, 9 500 coins.
  • IV place — 5 200 000 credits, 45 000 free XP, 5 000 coins.

 ► Second stage

  • I place — 9 000 000 credits, 76 000 free XP.
  • II place — 7 900 000 credits, 66 000 free XP.
  • III place — 6 800 000 credits, 57 000 free XP.
  • IV place — 5 700 000 credits, 50 000 free XP.

► Third stage

  • I place — 9 800 000 credits, 83 000 free XP, invitation to the Money Blaster Final tournament.
  • II place — 8 600 000 credits, 72 000 free XP, invitation to the Money Blaster Final tournament.
  • III place — 7 400 000 credits, 62 000 free XP.
  • IV place — 6 200 000 credits, 54 000 free XP.

Rewards will be accrued during 14 working days after the tournament will be ended.
