And my brain hurts from reading it.  At first I was like "oh cool its gonna be one of these collect X amount of things and get a Type 59!"

 

Well, I was sort of right.  You also can only BUY the lanterns you need.  So in theory you need $100 for either a Type 59, Cent RAAC, or AMX 49.

 

Well....guess I'll wait for the WT Steyr event.  I don't really need gold right now, so buying $100 worth of gold for a tank that is sold regularly at lower gold prices (and is considered not very good) doesn't make sense.  And I already have the 49 and RAAC.

the only thing i want from this "three warriors event" is the menshen profile background, and i'd need to spend about $280CAD for a gottdang waifu.

feels like WG dropped the ball on this one. both in the rewards, and how they're "earned", this has to be one of their worst events in the 7 years of blitz.

at least some of those tanks are decently strong... and it's a tank. and with those $50 bundles you could get like 4 or 5 tanks sometimes.

 

price for a waifu background should be around the same as the sta-1's rin camo... which, if i'm honest is what i thought it'd be from the splash image on the news article  - a legendary camo for the type 59 with a garage waifu... not a profile background - there's new backgrounds with every battle pass, and yet, they're trying to sell one (1) for hundreds of dollars. 

 

pure insanity.

 

 what're they putting in the water over at WG HQ? fluoride doesn't do that kinda damage to people's brains. 

not even mad, i'm legitimately concerned about these people now.

Yeah 100 dollars for one tank and gold...and 200 dollars for...an anime Background, that makes me laugh a lot, 200 dollars for a Background in the profile, WG, really, whats happening

Edit: in fact I want that background because looks pretty good, but 200 dollars? Well, even if the price was 1 dollar, i wouldnt buy it

At least in the Black Friday event you could buy special bundles for a discount to get the charms. In this event you are paying full price for gold that is cheaper via gold boxes anyway. Not to mention the amount of lanterns in each pack are pitiful. Paying $200+ for a simple profile background is definitely not worth it. Even the WOWS blitz ship waifus are cheaper.
