Try out the reworked aiming system and help decide the future of the game!
The current aiming system has served us well for many years. We have periodically improved certain aspects of it, but recently we experimented with more serious improvements. Improved aiming is noticeably different from the usual one, becoming faster, smoother and more responsive both on mobile devices and on PC. This allows not only to aim more accurately while moving, but also encounter certain "ghost shell" issues less often when firing and rotating the turret rapidly at the same time. The auto-aim on all platforms also gets improved—it follows the target better. On the other hand, the new aiming behavior may seem pretty unfamiliar, especially at the first time—you would definitely have to get used to it.
Here are some major improvements since iteration 2:
- The reticle works fine in replays now—please check that during the test. Replay sharing should work as usual too.
- On mobile (touch sensor) devices, moving the reticle across an enemy tank is much smoother now when auto-aiming is enabled. Movement irregularities have been eliminated.
-
Aiming became smoother while moving the reticle across the map landscape/surfaces; the reticle won't stick to objects or jump at height or distance differences that much.
We need your feedback again!
