It sounds like most people are getting the Birthday Event Gift Box, as well as certificate(s) for one of four tank types to exchange for the certificate(s) but I'm not hearing many people getting Lucky Tank Containers, as indicated in the Birthday Presents news article.

 

Birthday Presents

Proud owners of accounts registered before June 25, 2017 will receive A Lucky V Container in addition to the main Gift Box.

And if your account was registered before June 25, 2016, you'll receive A Lucky VII Container.

 

If your account was registered before the dates above and you didn't receive a Lucky V or VII Container, please indicate below. I'm not sure if this is a bug or they're not stipulating some additional requirement for these containers besides being registered before the dates above.

 

If you did receive a Lucky V or VII Container, please indicate where you found it. Like was it already there when you logged in? Did it appear when you opened the Gift Box? Was it sitting next to your Gift Box when you got it?

I have not received one and idk if it’s cuz my alt isn’t old enough, but it hasn’t received a chance to exchange ticket for tank

Nope. Nothing. I’ve look through all the tabs I’m aware of. No Lucky Tank Containers. Only container today was the Gift Box. 

 

If you found yours there, did you have to do something to get it first? Or was it just sitting there in the Other tab when you logged in?

Shows you as a member since 2014, so you should have received it as well.

go to the garage screen and check the offer tab on the right hand side, where you get those pop-up offers. you're an 8 year vet so you don't get a Lucky container. you get a ticket that you can spend on a Pudel, a Type 62, a T25 Pilot 1, or an AMX M4 49. each gives 2500 gold compensation if you already have it

If you’re in the 8 Celebration, you get the 8 year tank offer. That’s it.

If you’re in the 7 Celebration, you get the Lucky VII container. That’s it.

If you’re in the 5 Celebration, you get the Tier V crate.

They don’t stack. You don’t get multiple crates. The highest year is what you get.

Same as last year.

Thank you. Perhaps they should hire you instead of the person doing the news articles right now. 
 

All that said, I’m confused how the choice of one of four tanks for eight years is "better" than some of the great tanks in the Tier VII Lucky Container.

It isn't a better choice.    When you think about it, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say most whales players at the 8 Year mark will have all the tanks up for offer.  I ended up with 2.5k gold and some x5 certs since all the tanks paid out 2.5k gold.  Might as well get some extra fluff with it.

I was gonna ask which is better to get...the crate or the amx m4 till I realize....I get both.....

Its funny, my in game account was created in december of 2014, and yet I didnt recieve the free tank. got the 8 year reward crate with gold and currency, but no free tank.

okay, if thanks the case, i understand not getting the lucky container. i still didnt recieve the ticket for the tank.

Did you receive the container after doing this?  I changed my settings after seeing this, but still nothing.  I submitted a ticket as well, but haven't heard anything back from that yet.
