So I got my 8 year create with the four tanks to chose from.   I already have the Type 62 but am not too aware of the other tanks.  Any advice

on what they are each like and which one I should get out of the

T25 PILOT 1

AMX M4 49

The M4 49 is probably the strongest of the group. Okay armor, decent mobility, decent gun. Soft stats of the gun aren’t great but it’s a heavy. It’s more mobile than most Soviet and Chinese IS clones as well as your standard German heavies. Some American, British, and European heavies are a tad bit more mobile but it’s not bad overall. 

I personally like the T25 Pilot but there are probably other mediums that do it’s job better. But it’s mobile. The power to weight ratio is favorable on it and I have a pretty good time with it. Standard 90mm gun with 225 alpha and better pen than the Pershing or T95E2. Only outclassed in pen by the SuPersh but I’d rather have the killer mobility than another 10mm of pen. Other soft stats on the gun are good as well.

I’d only take the Pudel if you want a low tier premium.  Pudel is sort of like a VK 30.01D with better pen and some more armor. Other stats are about the same, if not a hair better on the Pudel. 

So I guess it just comes down to playstyle. Do you like mobile tanks like the T25? Or are heavies more your thing?

Type 62 is still pretty decent. HEAT pen is glorious !

I figured most veterans had that already, they used to sell it a lot and for quite cheap. The last time I remember it was on sale was like for 3k gold.

There was a time when Type 62 platoons were as feared and as battle swinging as Annihilator and Smasher platoons.

Still can be in hands of guys like yourself. That HEAT pen REALLY helps makes that little bugger dangerous to ignore.

HEAT pen is overrated. Too much of it gets eaten by modules and tracks. It's a fun tank but has been tremendously power crept.

 

I only have the Pudel, but it's an OP tier 6 medium. It's great.

You should really try out the Bretagne-Panther. It's just a better version of the tank. The big difference in acquiring one is that it was only sold once for 50 dollars.

Was going to bring up the Bretagne Panther in my post, but I didn't want to convolute it even more than it was.  But I agree, the Bretagne Panther is superior.

 

It's also been in the shop for gold at least once IIRC.
