The game desighners favor med tanks too much,and nerf a lot of the rest.Just look at tourneys the amount of winners useing med tanks.I f they were so worried about game balance they would let the tanks keep there str/weakneses Let the players play.......ive played for 7 years solid seen the  prices go up,the tanks change and maps.You used too be able too clip a tank now you wait for stupid red outline.bleh beeter the other way.if you want children too play the game make ut mario cart tanks ...lolbye! you are likely a better player than I am: however, heavies seem to be favored by wg.

 

but what do I know? I can’t even use a turret

I feel like they don't "favor" certain classes to be dominant; that just happens because of the shifting meta and playerbase. every class has tanks that seem to be loved as they have been buffed quite a bit without many nerfs; such as the t62a (up until this morning.)

 

then again, as Boris said you're probably a better player than i am

How do you play a game for this long and have this kind of an attitude toward it? I feel like as you play more you understand more and have less to complain about.

 

But maybe that's just my mindset.

I'm really not trying to stat shame here but damn

 

 

I'm currently a mix of impressed and sympathetic towards the OP. 66,000 battles, why would you do this to yourself at this point?

Welcome to the forum, your first post in 6 years and 4 months. I can see your vehicle preference is TD/ Heavy with 59796 battles in those tank types. Most public game queues are made up of heavies.

I’m not following your comment on clipping tanks out and having to wait for red outline?

Bro has never watched a tournament stream from 2017-2021. The last 5 years have been dominated by heavies in comp, ever since the medium pen nerf and the premium ammo nerf. There have been minor meta shifts where a team may have run 3-4 non heavy tanks in a lineup, like 2 Progetto's and a Foch, but those were exceedingly rare.

 

The only legitimate break from that has been since the T-100 was released. For the first time in years, teams could actually run multiple light tanks and have it work, instead of just 1 for spotting and capping. The T-100 got nerfed today, but it's going to be replaced by medium tanks like the 907 and 140. The 71 and 113 will be the main heavy tanks in the current meta and will still retain at least 4 spots on each roster.

Well, look closer at the stats. Below 1 damage ratio. Way below 1 kill ratio. 20% survival…

 

Couple that with the opinion that Meds are “da bomb” right now, when we all see the Heavy centric meta.
