Just updated to 9.2.2 on an iPad Mini 2. Played a couple of games then the video locked up in the Garage. Sound and touchscreen still active, hearing the sound effects when clicking controls, but video is locked. Now happens immediately after launching game on entering Garage. So no more games for a while on the iPad, but I can still play on my Mac or iPod Touch (TINY screen).

Anyone else having problems?

For the longest time WG tried to make sure that even the oldest devices could run the game, but that seems to have shifted a bit with the updated sound design and improved HD tank graphics. You may just be running out of time with a system that they don't test against anymore.

The game started working again and I played a few games today (Ultra-Low graphics of course) with no other problems, except the app crashing once while waiting for a platoon game to start.

The lockups seemed related to the in-game ads/notice screens that appear before entering the Garage after initial launch; the ones which you need to click the [X] in the upper-left corner to exit, like the hand-off is failing.

Anyhow I'll keep using the iPad Mini 2 as long as I can, the model has been out for almost 10 years. The latest iPad Mini 6 is really expensive, so I might look at an iPad 9 or Android replacement when it finally stops working.

Cheers!
