Major disappointment is what to expect. Events have gotten worse and worse. Certain people here will try to fluff it up. Or make up excuses. But each year there worse than the prior year. But then again that's one Of the reasons I'm seeing less and less of the old school tankers. Take a good look At events of the past and you will see the decline.

2016 isn't old school.  Old school is when you could still get banned for friendly fire.

Expect a few ways to get some stuff and have some fun just for playing and lots of ways to spend money. Snow globes are usually the best thing to get and the most difficult/expensive to acquire. The auction sometimes is a good way to get some decent deals on premiums, its all about the timing. Good buys on gold boxes.

 I wish they would bring back that little board game they had a few years ago. It was kind of cheesy, but didn't cost nothing and anyone could get stuff for playing.

Strv K will be the main tank on display. Testers didn't get a chance to play this one. There's a chance that live testing will be over, but I expect it to come back at some point. Anyways, this tank is pretty underwhelming. It's basically a slow medium tank that is classified as a heavy. Honestly, think T95E6 but worse. Sure, it could get a buff, but that would need to happen quickly.

 

Considering how much stuff WG has had to do this year that was unplanned, I doubt they have had time for a lot of ingenuity. I expect Blitz Fair to operate basically the same thing as last year. The main event progression line will probably feature a Tier VII tank that can acquired for free, along with a Snow Globe that will be more difficult to earn. Most likely, dedicated grinders will be able to get both of them.

 

To get the Strv K, you'll probably have a 1% chance to drop it from a Snow Globe, or you'll need 10 charms from 10 opened Snow Globes. It will probably be cheapest to use gold, although an option for Free XP will almost certainly exist. Last year, drop rates were 10% for 1500 gold, and 2% for 50,000 Free XP.

 

When the details are more concrete, I'll consider making a better analysis for it.

I'm going to have about 2.5 million free xp saved up for this event. Last year I dumped 3 million and didn't get a single globe. Bet I'll just get bent again, but won't be able to complain because I don't learn my lesson.

Yup, that Christmas adventure board was the best thing that they had put out. Cool little story lines, decent loot, really cool. I wouldn’t think it would be hard to just reload that old code for this year. As for the Christmas tank, if Frostbite is correct, that is a bit disappointing.

All I want is the Thunder to complete my Battle Pass collection and

possibly the Tier 8 Ram Panzer.

 

That Tier X panzer would be a nice pick up also.

 

But I'd be happy with just the Thunder.

T-22 is must have staple for anyone’s premium collection. Insane armor profile even as a med.

Have yet to try mine I got from a Lucky V crate. Had fun with the 907 though.

How did the Carro 45t come into the game? I've seen a couple and I want one.

I prefer the 907 to the T22. It doesn't have the noobproof armor profile, but it's better accuracy, GD, and mobility allow it to be more influential in the right position. It's like a pre-nerf t62a with more flexibility.

All I want for Christmas is the Concept 1b or AE phase 1.
