Clan Teufel Hunden WoT Blitz   In November of 1914, the world was plunged into a conflict on a scale never seen before. The stalemate that ensued forced the belligerents to develop new weapons and tactics. One such weapon was the armoured fighting vehicle, or tank.   Notable vehicles- British Mk I and Whippet, French Renault FT and Schneider CA1, German A7V   The development of valid AFV tactics would take another 20 year, when the Wehrmacht introduced to the world "Blitzkrieg". The combination of mobility, firepower and protection, utilized with a concept of concentration of force. France in the summer of 1940 was over ran in 1 month and 15 days, despite a overall numerical superiority, by a mass of German panzers running riot threw the Ardennes. Great Britain and France learned a hard lesson in those early years of World war 2. To many, it was no surprise that the speed and mobility of German armoured vehicles could so easily vanquish a larger force stuck in a stationary, and defensive mindset. It was this great conflict that modern armoured fighting vehicle tactics were forged.   Notable vehicles- British Churchill, Matilda, Valentine, American M4 Sherman, M18 Hellcat, USSR T-34, KV and IS series   After the end of the second world war, spheres of influence were created by the victors. Each with they're own doctrine as how tanks should be employed. This "cold war" was the catalyst for some of the most amazing and capable AFVs the world was to ever see. While many of the proxy wars from this period were not congruent to tank warfare, the mere threat of wide scale war was enough to feed the military industrial complex. Designs became more and more capable as technologically advanced. The proliferation of HEAT ammunition pushed the viability of armour. Only to force the creation of stronger composite protection (chobaham). It is from this period that the idea of a main battle tank came to fruition.    Notable vehicles-British Centurion, Conqueror, American Patton, M103, USSR, T 55, T 72   Near the end of the cold war, the ultimate pinnacle of armour designs were brought to service. The fear of hordes of Soviet T 72s pouring threw the Fulda Gap was enough to shock NATO nations into producing some of the most competent tanks to ever grace the battlefield. Guns got bigger, armour thicker, and ammunition more effective. The NATO countries put emphasis on quality while the Soviet block on quantity. While the two sides never faced off, NATO and eastern block tanks did. One only needs to read about the battle of 73 eastings to get a understanding of what side made the better tank.   Notable vehicles- British Challenger, American Abrams, USSR T 90   World of Tanks Blitz brings many of theses tanks and tactics into your living room, or local coffee shop. I think a lot of us were willing to deal with the name. However this group of guys had a different vision. This was not something that i just decided to do, it kinda found me. This group of players were looking for a leader, and they found that in Ax and myself. It wasnt fair to anyone to continue as we were, and it was decided the only logical action was to start our own clan, design by us, for us. I am always here for my guys, as is Ax. Just as you cannot win a battle by going AFK, you cannot run a clan in the same manner. I intend on doing the best job i can as commander and inspire those around me to do they're very best. A commander must wear multiple hats. Im a shoulder to cry on, a ear to bend, a scratching post, a father, a brother, a mentor. People congregated behind us because we do what we say, and say what we mean. The real Field Marshall Erwin Rommel would agree.

You may want to check our roster, those guys may be with Teufel Hunden now.

 

And anyone reading this, dont be afraid to message Axman727272 or panzerace760 about joining Teufel Hunden. While it is an invite clan, only way to get invited to play some platoons and jaw jack with us on the teamspeak.
