(Come here to bash? Do the world a favor, and go take a vacation to Reactor Number 4. You don't even know what dubstep is.)

So, this is the Dubstep thread. I love listening to Dubstep while tanking, I try to sync by shots with the bass blasts. As a matter of fact, 70% of my battles are fought better. when listening to it lol. Come share your songs and thoughts on any genre, wether its

The ones I know of are:
Glitchstep
Techstep
Nightstep
Drumstep
Brostep
Chillstep
Hardstep
Softstep
Wubstep
Modestep! So recently I've gotten into Nightstep. Nightcore and Dubstep? It's too good to be true. I've know some glitch step songs if anyone wants to hear them. Also I know some great Chillstep. A very good producer, is Dj Pon3, she makes some of the best I've ever heard. I can link you some of her best if you want.

I didn't know either at first. Then when you think about it, Dubstep songs dont sound the same way. So categories were created.

I know, but I never knew it could be called "wubstep", that name to me sounds silly

This ones is Chill. With a small bit of glitch. And it's absolutely beautiful. I just look at the Stars when listening to this one. And Wubstep? I'll find one. Trust me dude, it's out there.

But anyway, Wubstep is like regular dubstep, but a little soft, and it has a deep, "wubbing" noise. It mostly or constantly has a deep, wub playing. It can vibrate  very deeply, and feels good sometimes.

A majority of "-steps" are not legitimate genres. They're just names people thought of because they wanted it to be different. There's not Glitchstep, you're probably thinking of Glitch Hop. There is Drumstep, Chillstep (AKA Liquid Dubstep or Melodic Dubstep), and then Brostep, but most would say Brostep isn't necessarily a genre more than it is just a name. I have hundreds of EDM tracks on YouTube in playlists and in my favorites on Soundcloud, mainly Dubstep but mostly non-mainstream, like Death[step] and Riddim.

And that would be Deep Dubstep. There's no such thing as "Wubstep".

Yes, I know of him. IIRC, he's from Eastern Europe, can't remember where. I've been in the EDM genre for close to 4-5 years now.

He made a comment on some social media. But I don't listen to him much anymore, got tired of the Skrillex-inspired music he was constantly making but I still consider him to be a talented person, just not my type.

I mostly listen to his Chill and Brostep. I don't like his Skillexy kind of "Scream" Dubstep that much. Ive heard of Deathstep, but never really thought of it that much to listen to. Can you introduce some good ones?

Well what I'm listening to right now is Riddim. It's basically Dubstep with Trap drums. This is the definition I got from Urban Dictionary:

Block Quote

"Dubstep Riddim", is a track that usually features: Triplet Percussion Arrangement, Sawtooth LFO Automations, Minimalistic Layers, Wide Delays, and lots of flanger and chorus filters. Or in English, it's that really bouncy, wonky, sometimes repetitive side of Dubstep

The names above are types of packs that you use to produce EDM or other types of music Electronically.

My current song as of now is this:

https://soundcloud.c...ion-digits-clip

Not Deathstep but heavy nonetheless.

There's also a genre called Tear Out. Extremely aggressive Dubstep that's usually very heavy and fast paced.

Try It Again

Nothing Left

I have PLENTY of EDM.

Good god. What did I just hear. I heard that on my iPad speaker, and now I'm pissed I can't find my Monster headphones. I need to hear that stuff with true bass cannons.
