I used to be able to play wot and run background for music and recording, but sence the update I've been crashing repetidly so I had to remove those from running in the background. But more and more I've been crashing. I can't even play wot anymore without crashing every time I hit play and I have to reload the app and get put in the battle late and some times that even doesn't work!

I use iOS 7 and I rarely crash. Maybe it's something with iOS 8

Its probably because the ipad mini has 512mb of RAM with the a5 and running ios 8... All of those combined could cause the crashing

I play WoT on the original iPad mini as well, running the latest version of iOS 8. I estimate I experience about 1 crash in 20 battles, on average. If the app is repeatedly crashing, try closing out all your other apps before opening WoT to free up as much memory as possible. Don't play background music either - leaving Spotify playing music in the background is almost a guarantee that the app will crash as soon as I enter a battle.

Also, some maps (Winter Malikova and Castilla in particular) apparently require more memory, and those are usually the ones that crash it.
