And by birds eye, I dont mean camping. I should say American Eye view, because our Satilites and secret planes can see everything, like a terrorist picking his nose. I'm sure the CIA is watching me type this, and is marking me down for elimination. (I know too much)

But I found these cool overviews recently provided by Alo8, and its a overview of every map. From the Wikia. Feel free to save them and plan your strategies. Thanks for Alo8 for providing these! -KD

WG never put the grids back on the maps, but here they are again for reference.  I'm hoping to get the 3D data from them so I can topo at some point in the future too.

OK - so downloading all the maps from Imgur sucks.

Here's a Dropbox link with the maps and grids all in one zip file:

Awesome! Now, I must gather up my agents to format a plan of action. We have gotten reports of HYDRA (and Stalin) hiding within one of these maps. Anyone looking to give an "anonymous" tip, please let me know, and we will happily interrogate you! LOL. I would give you a +1, but I am fresh out, so I'll have a couple agents go over to the Federal Reserve to steal  borrow some!

The water looks weird-ish...

I think the water is some sort of rendered object that is not well-represented in the views passed on to us by WG.  It doesn't show the extent of water correctly.  One of the things that's great about the maps is seeing 'how far you can see.'  Since view range is artificially limited (230m +/-) you know you're only going to be able to see two grids over in any direction.  It makes the role of a spotter and a TD working in combination so much more critical.

That's fantastic Kam- thanks for putting them all in one place. These will definitely get plenty of use on our side as we discuss our stratagems!

This is a dump-truck full of awesome.

One of the serious problems in planning the fight against American doctrine, is that the Americans do not read their manuals, nor do they feel any obligation to follow their doctrine...- From a Soviet Junior Lt's Notebook

"The best tank terrain is that without anti-tank weapons." -Russian military doctrine.
