Those weakspots are on the sides. You can't effectively hit them from the front without just autobouncing.

This thing is a DW2 with up armored front....an even crappier gun and 4 weak spots (2 on each side)

You can't say a tank's armour sucks because you can pen its sides. I show the E75 being pennable by an SU-85b

Of course. Nothing is invincible. But it is pretty ridiculous for the tier it's at. It makes the T1 Heavy cry tears of sadness.

DO NOT ATTACK IT FROM THE FRONT!!!!

Like all tanks, the Panzer II J's frontal armor is stronger than the rest of the tank, so try flanking it. It will be relatively easy to get around the Panzer if you aren't driving a DW2 or a TD since the Pz II J is a very slow beast. It barely reaches that top speed of 31 km/h and its traverse is mediocre. You have a better chance of getting through 50mm of armor instead of 80mm.

As seen below, it is much easier to penetrate it when you have the flat side and rear armor of the Panzer II J facing you.

And yes don't be afraid to load the GOLD!

 

By the way this thing hates tank destroyers, especially ones that are fully upgraded. Also don't be afraid, the Panzer II J has a poor gun for its tier 1 in a tier 4 battles.....

... so when you see one, always show your frontal armor towards it, so the Panzer II J wont be able to penetrate you forcing the Panzer II J drivers to load gold which will lead to very high costs.

 

Oh and all you T18 sealclubbers, the Panzer II J can pen you frontally even without gold ammo.

On PC I was in my pzb2 and humiliated a Pz II J. Just load the Gold and start ramming them at full speed Lol.

The Pz s35 is going to give the PzIIJ a good beating. With APCR both can pen each other frontally. With AP the s35 can pen the IIJ from the sides or rear and the IIJ cannot pen the s35. Both have  the same hit points 390.

I find the best way to kill one is in a m8a1 with the 3 in AT gun. When i battled one i went right through his front like paper and he raged so bad    :-D.
