To start with are are 3 types of guns

akpha dmg guns with usally should do 25 percent of your hp or more

dmp guns which have a 10 secpund or faster rate of fire

and both combined mix of alpha and dpm

note that if a gun is both alpha and dmg it will have very low aim time accuracy and. Penetration

what you should look at first

when chossing a gun for my tank i look at the penetration first

then the rate if fire then the accuracy aim time then dmg.

Explaining diffrent shells

he or high explosive has poor pen great dmg and a blast radius

if it hits your and  penetrates you will  likely lose crew and modules.

doing massive dmg to you

if it dosnt then you will still get dmg but not that much generally 20-40 percent of the total dmg

( based on testing in wot pc with kv2)

heat

if like he but it has more pen and does not lose penetration over a distance

apcr

a tankers worst night mare

ut has the highest penetration

same dmg as a ap shell

and cost 400 silver per gold and they range from 400-4000 credits

( corret me if i am wrong )

ap

just a regular shell a tank fire better pen then he or heat 10-30 percent worst pen then apcr

has same dmg as apcr

now a quick text if you meet a tank head on

look at it gun if it is long it means it is a penetration based gun doing small amount of dmg with a faster rate of fire

if the gun is large in. Diameter and small in length it means it has bad  penetration but good dmg and a slow rate if fire

but there are some exceptions this is just a general rule

and another quick tip

take a 2-3  seconds aiming or you might have to spend another 5-20 reloading

this is the end of the guide

tell me if you want me to make another one and what it should be about

hope you enjoy it

Pro tip for guides:

Use punctuation and capitalization.

Just a helpful hint, but otherwise, fairly informative!

Heat is not like he. HE is high explosive, is that shell that can do 1 dmg - xxxx dmg depending on the place you shoot. HEAT can bounce more easy, has trouble with spaced armor, like HE, but if it pens it has a small range of dmg it can do, such as 2xx - 3xx.

The Mighty Jingles. (BohemianEagle) has some good YouTube discussion on shells.  His is PC WOT . . . But I'm assuming shell behavior is similar.

My take is the premium APCR is sometimes the wrong thing to use because it just punches a hole and goes on out the other side . . . causing not much damage.  You want damage INSIDE the target.

Heat doesn't get the 10° armor normalization armor piercing gets.

What tank is most suited for the jungle?

That is WT GF.

The other game we aren't supposed to talk about.
