Hello and welcome to my third written guide! I will try to either persuade or dissuade you to buy these tanks in my articles. Here are links to the other two, A-32Valentine II.

(A Pz. 38h trying to knock down a tree)

History:  The French had around 800 of these little tanks (produced by Hothckiss), which were ahead of the times as far as armor and weaponry were concerned. Unfortunately due to horrid French tactics, the tanks were not used to their full potential as they were tied with the army, and couldn't be detached to run operations like the infamous WW2 Panzer divisions. So while the tank was better than what the Germans had of that day the tactics they used resulted in inefficiency. Around 550 of these tanks were captured by the Germans, and they were used to supplement the armored forces that pushed through France. The Germans, after this, weren't sure what to do with this  tank.......It saw duty as a weapons carrier, crew trainer, and eventually even some were given to the police force in the heartland of Germany! The most interesting of the modifications made to it, was the Rocket launcher version of this tank!

So overall, many modifications and uses were found for this French Tank. A few survive in museums even today.

Maneuverability: (tier one engine, 75 horse power) 3/10 Not that great, a 37 k/hour sounds good......but it almost never reaches that speed unless going downhill or on a slope. An average for flat, hard terrain is like 26 k/hour. Due to the speed of similar tiered tanks, you may get to the "party" a little late. The speed keeps you from overextending, and is a blessing in disguise in that way. The traverse speed is 32 degrees, and the turret traverse is 26 degrees. Not to horrible. So it is a bit sluggish, but doable.

Firepower: (tier one gun) 5/10 You aren't going to get a medal for damage per shot in this tier (around 40-50 in my experience) but the reload time is superb; 16.22 rounds per minute before consumables equipment, crew, etc. The penetration of the 3,7 cm SA 38 L/34 with AP (41 pen)  is sufficient with dealing with most tier twos and "ok" against tier threes. I do recommend bringing APCR (64 pen). There are some tier ones and parts of tier twos that you can pen with HE so bring a few rounds just in case. So not the best, but CERTAINLY not the worst (648 damage per minute)

Armor: (10/10) This isn't called the "mini-maus" for nothing......the armor outshines all the other vehicle characteristics. 40/40/40 ALL SIDES and including the turret. It has a reasonable, but not great 210 HP. Their ARE some weak spots (turret capula, the several small crew viewports) and they are relatively easy to hit if not "wiggling", if you know what you are doing. SO.......... Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, if you suspect the opponent is using APCR or HEAT, or you fight a td. Side-scraping is a viable tactic, with flat-(ish) sides and same armor on all sides as well. Ramming is only suggested when spall liner is equipped..... 10 tons is not too amazing.....You are basically safe from ALL stock guns from non-tds if you know what your doing, and very reasonably safe from all other same tiered guns that don't fire APCR. So, armor angling, wiggling, and general tactics make this tough bugger last.

Gameplay: When you feel confident that there is no danger from HEAT or APCR charge the opponents......slowly that is. Your speed limit prevents yolo-ing. Side-scraping CAN bounce premium shells from T-18 Derp. (tested with a clan-mate 9/10 bounced from various angles). DON'T snipe or stay back....this is totally a front-line tank. Stay alert, attack weakened enemies, and PWN the field of battle!

Equipment: 1. Vents (for that gun and aiming time0

                   2. Spall liner (many HE spamming noobs at this tier)

                   3. Gun Laying Drive (for that gun again)

Consumables: 1. Adrenaline (dat gun)

                        2. Chocolate (dat crew)

                        3. Multi-repair kit (dat necessary repair)

I hope you enjoyed this review, and learned something new! If you feel I was wrong about any part of this, please correct me! I enjoy constructive criticism. I TOTALLY recommend this tank. Get it while you can! Have a good day and Blitz ON!

Just one small criticism, if the armor has obvious weak spots that are relatively easy to hit, should the armor rating really be 10 out of 10, or are you just fanning the "Mini-Maus" flame?

+1 for the guide, though.

I am not on either side on fanning but I would say from experience that they are not that easy to hit. Atleast not with a autoloader.

those weak spots are really hard to hit if you keep moving and dont stand still, and since the gun is accurate you can shoot while moving. Also only a couple of tanks can penetrate

Hmmm.....accuracy left a little to be desired in my case.......

Very nice guide. I already bought one after watching dimmzy's video, but won't have a chance to play it until I get home. Now I have a better idea of its merits. Looks like it will be fun like the German heavies and AT-15A are fun. Trading shots sounds like ping-BOOM-bounce- BOOM, etc :)

Nice review, +1(I'm out of +1 for the day until they reset which is weird because I have been out since last night...so can someone give him one for me?)

I bought it, but haven't used it. Wanted to read your review before I went out with it.
