I do need some advice. I just moved up to the T-18, my first TD.  Is there a way to view a wider part of the map without the whole tank turning?  On the PC there is a way to lock the turret. Or is this a "deal with it" kind of thing. Thanks.

That's it Schmidt,  but you trade that off for big damage! In annother thread someone asked about hull lock, but there is no response from the developer on that yet.

There is a way to look with out turning your turret/tank. On the right bottom side, there is a little whit thing that has lines on it kind of like a bar. Touch inside the bar and you can look around with turning your tank! Hope this helps!

Firepower is average damage per shot, effectiveness is penetration of the shell.

For a newcomer to WOTblitz is there a wiki of sorts somewhere that explains benefits and uses of the different artillery rounds, where weak spots on commonly used tanks are ?  An example would be I read in another thread about hitting an ammo rack which causes it to explode and one shooting a tank... Is this something you can learn to aim for or is that just a random occurrence you can just hope for.... Or not if it u ;)

is is using the WOT PC wiki for such info useful?

The WoT PC wiki is very helpful. We had some talk of a WoTB wiki showing up but I don't think anyone ever got to it.

The ammo racks are either located in the turret or upper hull. You will rarely detonate these will you still can deal damage to them, decreasing the reload speed of the enemy tank. You can usually access the ammo racks better from the side and will see a little icon and a lot if damage upon success.

How do I use message shortcuts in battle, like who I'm targeting, or SOS?

What is ping? How do credits get used up in battle?

Ping is a computer network administration utility used to measure the round-trip time for messages sent from the originating host to a destination computer.

Low ping good, high ping bad.

Credits are spent replacing consumables, ammo and repairing your vehicle.

I just started using tank destroyers. Is it best to sit and snipe or move a lot?
