Someone teach me how to drive this pile of garbage. As far as I can tell the only stat that is better is than the VK 30.01 P is the HP value (of 1000 vs 920).

  • This tank weighs less and has a more powerful engine yet somehow feels slower than the P.
  • The traverse speeds are really a moot point because they both pale in comparison to the T-34-85.
  • The gun does has a lower alpha value and the rate of fire does not make up for the difference (1,858 vs 1,947 maximum damage per minute).
  • The penetration boost is nice, but I still find it pretty meaningless.

Honestly had very little trouble with the VK 30.01 P, but this tank I just hate. I rarely do over 1,000 HP of damage.

I just got mine, but this vid shows how I play it. Just try to stay hidden, use your gun depression, and use your DPM at range to help your team.

I find it to be a fun medium, especially when you're bottom tier. On mines recently I was the top XP in a tier 8 match by punching holes in the side of an IS-3 and T-32 (among others) from the top of the hill. That's where the added pen helps. And it's got the same alpha as the 7.5 on the Panther one tier higher. Just try to keep moving and don't let the heavies smash you.

Antonio Soares told me it was OP and I think it is...maxed has a fearsome gun, great mobility. The hull is not the best but man...shoot, relocate, repeat...great for COD heavies...harassment from long distance I mean...you name it...the next one 30.02 D mostly the same just a little short distance game due the 88 is not very good from distance but I had soooo many 2000+ dmg games on it that I can remmember...I read Tango's guide on the Indien that dam  I want one sooo bad....

I really liked the 30.02... Great tank... I'm on the Indien now.  It is good.  Turret is surprisingly tough with a really nice gun depression.  Slow to accelerate and lacks a bit of "umph" getting up hills.  Hope the Tier 9 is fun as well.

Its definitely not the team carrying tank. But it can be enjoyable. I play this tank mostly for fun, not really to win. Once was bottom tier, so I yolo scouted. Dodged 6 rounds, bounced another two, and did around 2000 spotting damage while doing no actual damage.I think I might stop this line at the 30.02D though. The short 88 as the best gun at tier VII, on a tank that's not particularly fast, and lacks American tank gun depression just seems like a bad idea to me. I also hear the Indien is worse than the Panther II, and leopards do nothing that the Pattons and Russian Meds don't do better other than straight line speed.

336 tanks in the garage!

I hope you've played the Indian Panzer. That is a great tank. Very comparable to the M26 Pershing.

The Leopard PT A on the other hand... I want to toss that thing in the dang trash.

If you think PT A stock is bad, try playing the T-150............
