I want to grind a tier 10 medium tank.but I don't know witch one, I know the T-62A is good but I might. Or be able to coop with its armour, so I was looking at the M48 and wanted to grind this, but if you think there is a better tank  to grind please say below. Thanks

Im at the T-54 (tier 9), and the grind is amazing so far.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. It really depends on your preferences.

Both are great but I can't cope with non existent gun depression so I prefer M48/FV4202. It's up to your preference.

I have the M48 and it's just not for me, I am now grinding the British Mediums and am enjoying it more. That's my $0.02 worth

Do some searches on this forum and read up on the Patton line, its a good tank in the right hands howeverf if you look at it's stats it has the lowest WR, Avg Damage and Avg. Experience of any of the Tier 10 Mediums based on player averages

This. They play very differently and you really have to look at the whole line. For me the Russian medium line was more fun. better armor, speed but horrid gun depression. I recently went back and started the American line again and while the armor and speed is lacking compared to the Russians, I've really enjoyed them. The armor is a little weaker but oh that amazing gun depression allows you to do so many things. I think the American line will test your patience a little more. It's not as forgiving as the Russian line IMO. I'm on the Pershing now and enjoying it. I've found that it has made me better when I hop back in the T-54 or 62a.

48 is a little more flexible if you ask me since it has gun depression.  I prefer it and am better in it compared to 62a

Yes the Patton can be a good tanks (I emphasize the can).  Although it is a tank that requires high skill to use well.

I would say the soviet medium line is more forgiving (albeit with poor gun depression).  The nice thing about the soviet med line is they are very low profile and the turret is very strong.  The Pershing turret is stong, but the Patton turrets are not.

So if you go with the Patton you will need to play very carefully because almost anyone can pen your turret (and the turret is not small).

Very true. Don't sit and trade shots with people. Gotta keep it moving side to side and wiggling.

Not to it yet, but I'm doing pretty well in the M46 Patton so far. You can see a lot about almost all tanks in youtube videos. I go there quite a bit.

Um, might want to compare numbers on the guns.  The M48 is not the most powerful gun.  And TBH it's the medium of least desire.  It's HUGE, bigger than the E5.  It's wicked tall.  You have to always be moving to bounce anything off the turret.  The turret will bounce some things but is not nearly as reliable as the T62.  The t62 was the highest DPM of all t10 mediums.  (I dunno how it compares to the leopard).  Pretty sure the Leopard is 8 rounds a min at 350 average.  FV4202 is 7.89 with the same average.  But can use HESH at 210 pen to get 500(and change) average damage.  A lot of people can do well in the Patton, and you can to.  But IMO the FV4202 is a MUCH nicer tank.  You can bounce quite a bit.  It too has it's downfalls.  The E50M (I don't have this tank) is also more forgiving than the Patton and t62.  I currently have the Patton, FV, and 62 (very few games on 62) and I'd take the FV or 62 over the patton all day every day.  Like I said, IMO.

If you want gun depression go down the British line.  If not then Russian.  Both lines are great with the Cent 1 being the only one people consider a real dud.  Though it isn't bad when upgraded IMO.

I think you need to look at this a different way. It is the only tier X med that is not fully upgraded when you get it. So you hop right into tier X and STILL have to grind. .

Here is some data from CPT's gun spreadsheet.

I have better W/R in the Patton, and love it way more than T-62. People always recommend T-62, but a lot of people also can't seem to play well in it.

Yes T-62 is fast, but fast can also get you killed. Especially when you're new, and can't control the need for speed (running into the whole enemy team in the first 30 seconds and die).

At a certain speed, especially when limited by the tank, is actually optimal to keep yourself from running into enemies too fast. Pershing, T-34-85, T-43, etc, are actually better to keep yourself farther from the enemy, and play mid range like you're suppose to.

M48's turret is super troll. I bounce it about the same amount as T-62 when played right. M48 has MORE pen than E5 and T-62. With the stronger troll armor, and higher damage than the Russians, it usually wins 1v1.

Thx meta, I was just about to post the same thing.  The M48's gun is good, but not even close to the "most powerful tier 10 medium".  It has the worst accuracy out of all 5.
