Maybe. But I really think there is something more to it. Haven't fully figured it out totally. I have been in matches where we roll over other team. I started screen shooting before the history log now. The tactics in most games play out the same. Every now and then you get the game where tanks go in 7 different directions.

Basically what I'm saying is there are players with some way around the system. Not sure how or what.

But it exists. No way can any player hold 80% win rate over 100+ games with MM as it is, no way.

Nothing is impossible. I've seen a guy who's normal win rate is 80% also there's many players with 70%+ win rates FYI.

I platooned with concep. We only did 3 matches. But we had 2 defeats. It looked the same to me as all my matches. Couple tanks a factor and rest burnt off in short order. Granted concep and I where the last to cook off but that's kinda my issue.

The way the matchmaking works it seems impossible to get good stats when they are a team stat not individual.

No doubt concep is a elite player I just can't seem to jump that gap.........Concep posted a couple videos from battles today. I did see some things I would employ. But honestly i have had several battles with those kind of stats. I had a 3 kill 4k game today. But due to mm can't repeat unless had the same team. Just can't figure it out.

I wonder if anything can be done about that at all due to MM? It's going to be inconsistent teams every time. But, as with everything, there's a root reason and it's probably just good tanking.

I agree. I have started exiting server if I Lose. I noticed if I jump into next game, end up with some same teamates. Not sure if it has effect but makes me feel better.

Are these the missing pieces this?

You must platoon. Partner must be similar and decent. Plan each map. If you are platooned and highest teir most tanks will follow you. Win. If not highest teir protect there guns in hopes they do damage even if dumb.Win. And the remaining 20% loses are just really dumb teams you just can't save?

Question: What do the little red headphones mean in the after-battle stats? I assume they mean that I scored a critical hit and killed somebody with headphones, but in all my games, I have never heard my own narrator say:

"Our radio operator is dead; we'll have to shout at the other tanks"

or

"Our DJ is dead; we'll have to dance to our own groove now."

Also, what's the difference between "yellow tracks" and "red tracks"? I have visibly de-tracked enemies who show "yellow tracks" after the game.

Yes, I've got over 2000 battles and still don't know this one, sorry.

Not sure about the headphone... don't remember seen it before. Maybe you can post a screen shot?

Yellow means track damaged, but still works; red means broken, and you won't be able to move at all.

Hope that helps.

Apparently there's a scroll down option in the menu with no idicators. Found the setting now.

How do I get map coordinates / grid markers on the mini map. In some game players post to protect "h2" or something. I have not seen an option to turn on those kinds of settings

Cheers!

well... thread necromancy.. ;) I do have to say thanks for resurrecting this thread.  It brought my old buddies name back up from the past.. SIOUXinPA.. miss playing with that dude!

Anyway, such a thing does not exist in Blitz.  I guess the minimap is deemed to be too small for that detail and indeed, on all but the full size iPads or iPad pros, it is too small.  At least for this old mans eyes it is.

Yesterday I ran into an 80% + wr player on my team who was platoon with another super unicum who's wr was 77%.

So what I noticed in particular about these two super unicums was that both of their avg dmg was under 1000.

Good Beginners guide siouxinpa.  This stuff would be awesome for the in game tutorial!

That would be nice if it were in the tutorial when you've never played before

Ah, but if the tutorial is to long people will just quit. Also, you do not start seeing heavies until you reach tier three.
