Player names unreadable on starting screen

With the new widening of the battle starting screen, some player names are extremely difficult to read due to the lightness of the font used and the background image.  Screenshots below, from iPad Air 2 running iOS 8.1.

 

Falls Creek

 

Dead Rail

 

Lost Temple

 

I'm sure this issue exists on other maps as well, these are just the only screenshots I captured last night.  A darker font color needs to be used for the player list on these screens.

Can never read the bottom right name in castilla BEFORE update, doesn't matter a whole lot

Perhaps it doesn't matter to you, but it's still a bug that needs to be reported and fixed.

Not just a iOs thing.  Same on Android.  There were a couple of maps I couldn't even read 3 names on the enemy team...

I just realized I actually screenshot the Falls Creek game for a different reason, not for this issue...but it still applies. :)

Noticed the same thing right away. Thanks for sharing the screen shots.


Generally speaking, I have a serious dislike for the current design trend about thinner fonts, lower/reduced contrast and increased transparency these days.  I have great corrected vision, great visual acuity, but hate to have to squint and try to decipher some white on white, grey on grey stuff ... 

Just make stuff easy read. Use contrast and color properly. Period.

Thanks for taking these shots Cheez.  It's been driving me INSANE.  This is another example of improper testing.  It seems like the devs changed the load screen width to accommodate larger names, loaded one or two maps with backgrounds that DO NOT affect the ability to read the font, said "Looks good Comrade" and called it done. :facepalm:

I thought it was just me. I even thought about adjusting screen brightness.

This is probably because of too much light reflecting on the screen. It will be readable if you have your device's screen bright in a dark place.

 

I can still see the names clearly in your screenshots.

Screenshots are regardless of screen brightness. 

Can't me the right side of Castilla is readable. The others maybe when you squint a bit, but we shouldn't have to. There's no need for that transparent fade edge at all or to fade as much and where it does.

Please explain how light reflecting on the screen would be captured in a screenshot.  It's much more noticeable in the Castilla intro screen than the others.

Light reflecting on the screen does not get captured in a screenshot. I've seen these screenshots, and there is nothing wrong with the names, I can read all of the names shown.
