I was dreaming about getting that "wonderful" tank,  now I am at 100k XP from it...

It is now that the dream become a nightmare, everyone is telling me that T110E4 is the worst tier 10 tank of the game.

Bad sides (8) :

-Horrible aiming time

-Nearly no armor on the turret

-Huge but paper thin mantlet for a tier 10

-Terrible traverse speed on both hull and turret

-Low DPM

-Obvious weakspots

-Horrible gun depression (-6°, when it was -10° on T30) 

-Ridiculous RoF (only 0.57 faster than T30)

Good sides (3) :

-Nice but nerfed alpha damage (Blitz = 640, PC and Xbox = 750)

-Nice penetration (298mm, AP)

-Nice speed (35km/h)

Hmmmm I disagree on the armor aspect it's pretty well armored

In fact T30 is a better TD than E4

I know it's hard to hear this, but there is a reason you almost never see this thing in tier 10 games.

The armor on this vehicle is good, but not equal to the T110E3 because if there were more armor = heavier and turret would take forever to rotate, so they reduced the armor spec. so any tier 10 could pen you from the front i guess on the turret.

Just imagine a tank that's checker boarded with alternating strong spots and weak spots. It's more the placement of these weak spots than their existence that makes the E4 so undesirable...you really can't hide your flaws no matter what you do, like you could in the T30 (hull down). Its turret has three massive weak spots, so hull-down is unwise. Its hull is mediocre at best for Tier X, so trying to go T110E3 on your opponents is suicide. Not to mention it has poor mobility and a long reload, so flanking and brawling are out of the question.

 

I feel like Wargaming tried to make a jack-of-all-trades tank for the TDs, as they did for the mediums and heavies, but failed just because TDs aren't meant to be jack-of-all-trades tanks.

E3 is better! After watching ... Who was it? Kimjongspoon? Well that convinced me e4 has the same play style as e3 so the more armored tank is my preference

The armor is not e3 status but it's not that bad.  Don't go in expecting to bounce everything, use hard cover often and you will get surprising bounces. You won't get gold shot at you as often and maybe that helps.  Playing my e5 helped me know how to angle and such to maximize bounces or make your tracks eat the round.  I honestly enjoy my e4, it is not a super op tank and isn't that popular but I have more fun in it than my e5.  Don't get all discouraged man but don't rush the t30, that is a fun tank
