Am I the only one who doesn't like most of the american tanks in blitz? The tds are fun to play at lower tiers but in higher tiers I hate how they become very slow and lose maneuverability. The T1 heavy and m6 were ok but once I got to the t29 I realised that the t32 had terrible pen and the m103 had a bad stock grind so I sold it. Plus I already had the fv215b which is pretty close to the T110E5. The Patton is everything I wouldn't want from a medium tank. It is slow, not great armor, ok gun and bad camo. The only american tank I will probably get is the T57 Heavy just cause of its gun. Who else agrees with me?

I like the american E3 line. That's it.

I personally really like the American heavies and tds.  The only think I didn't like was the huge change in tactics from the 32 to the 103. Then again it does help diversify my play so... Maybe it was a good thing.

Hmm - with upgraded tracks the T29 is a beast.  Possibly the best Tier VII heavy tank along with the KV3.  The T32's gun is definitely meh for its tier, and the M103 is not well armored.  But the E5 is far better than the M103, and is a strong Tier X machine.  It lacks the armor of the IS-7, but has a better gun and DPM.  The more I play Tier X the more I think speed is king, so as the fastest heavy the E5 is well-liked by the best players.  But these same players like the mediums even more.  Fast enough to evade shots, mediums can go anywhere and dish out the damage.  If you're good enough at the game, which I am not!  The E3 is a beast at Tier X but the grind to get there is nasty.  (If I was a better player with faster reflexes I'd suggest the T-62a or Leopard I, but those are harder to play well, the Leopard in particular.)

 

If Tier X is your destination, the E3 and E5 are both solid tanks.  The Patton not so much, as its larger size makes it easier to hit, and it's not well-armored.  I'd never pick it over the E5 or other mediums.

Perhaps I will give the american heavy line another chance in the future but that's it

Funny you should say that since my first tier X was the E5 and my second will be the Patton. Loved the grind. The only exceptions were  learning the T32 and the Pershing (and any time I played a stock tank) The U.S. Tanks are some of the best tanks in the game IMO. But it's all about play style. And they fit mine.

M3 Lee is a blast to play but I understand why some would hate it. T1 Heavy is underrated.

So much hate on the Patton, I adore mine. I also love my e5.

The American mediums suck. They shouldn't, but they do. The E8 served through Korea and as the t-62 is in the game, so too should be the M-60 instead of two barely postwar versions of the Patton. The late and post-war American mediums don't get to show off what they were great at in reality on these tiny maps, which is to be able to shoot from the backside of rises and ridges.

 

 

The American heavies have their bright spots, M6, T29, and I even like the 103 once fully upgraded. The Tier X is a formidable machine.

 

The turreted American TDs are the cat's pajamas, even the T-25/2 since it was buffed last update. The T-30 is a beast. By far the most versatile TD family in Blitz.

 

The only good non-turreted American TDs are the lower tier ones. The t-25 concept was better done by the Russians and the t-95 is a pig.

Your way off base. Patton in my opinion is the best medium, E3 has incredibly OP armour and decent speed and a powerful gun, E4 is the ONLY turreted TD line, and if you already have e3 e4 is insainly easy to grind. The e5 is debatably the best heavy in the game for its ability to carry/ manuverability and DPM. I like American tanks the best.

If the M60 gets added, it will be a clan-exclusive limited edition tank, just like in the PC version. And the Pattons in the game are already great. They have good DPM, and the M48 can bounce shots through angled frontal turret armor. The T110s are all good tanks, E3 having good frontal armor and gun, same with E4, but slightly worse armor, and E5 for its versatility.

 

I want the T57 Heavy, and all the tanks in its line that lead up to it.
