Hey guys. Posting videos from my deployments and training exercises.

Single shot, 2000m, sabot.

 

This one I didn't film, but it's still awesome. Wire guided HEAT missile destroys soviet tank. Secondary detonation of ammo compartment.

At the 33 second mark, just after firing, something impacts the ground roughly 50 yards in front of the tank.  I assume this is the discarding sabot pieces coming free from the penetrator?  If not, thoughts?

 

I look forward to more 'toons in the future.

you're 100% correct, Herr. I don't remember if we are shooting MPAT or sabot in this video, but both have discarding aluminum petals and that's what you see impacting the ground ahead of the tank.

Great stuff BR1XT0N, thank you. And of course we all thank you for your service. Guys like you and those that came before you are why we have the freedom to do things like spend time blowing up virtual tanks.

 

Also - you don't want to be on the other side of BR1X in WoTBlitz - a real tank commander has the kind of Situational Awareness that us office dweebs with a tank game can only dream of!
