I have not played my T29 in a very long time, Was still a green horn when i rode that pony and had great success! Honestly brothers the KV3 and IS were the only tanks I felt comf going out solo in regardless of team effort or lack there of! They are tanks that can sway the battle big time. I see tier IX 6 out of 10 matches with these tanks...It was tough enough then but I held my own...Now it's just going to be a slaughter! Yup retirement for these 2 but as i said sooo much fun was had with tons of memories!

"Reload speed was rounded for all guns."

Rounded by how much?

Probably to the hundredths of a second.  Or maybe to tenths of a second.  Nothing that will make any significant difference.

My poor T29.... Time to sell maybe... It's hard because I constantly see higher tier games in this tank. It can hold its own but not sure after this nerf. :(

Well, yes and no ... I for one don't consider the following " ROUNDING "

Block Quote

 For IS-122 turret:
                For 100 mm D-10T gun, reload speed changed from 9.8 to 9 s.
                For 122 mm D2-5T gun, reload speed changed from 15.17 to 17 s
                For 122 mm D-25T gun, reload speed changed from 12.68 to 15 s

#I gets a bit better but they're adding close to two secs to # 2 and close to two and a half seconds to #3?!

Quite some " rounding ".

After the IS3 now the IS ... same nerf bat, making it a T34 slow 15sec reload.

Those changes you listed there aren't rounding.  They're multiple integer changes.  15.17 does not and never rounds to 17.  It would round to 15...or possibly 16 if you're weird.  But 17 is right out.

The rounding statement applies to OTHER guns not listed here.

So the biggest effect is the reload time on the IS...Now 15 sec?

I just noticed that the t-34's 76mm gun (s-54) ap penetrations as boosted from 109 to 125mm. That is an unlisted change, so clearly there are some "stealth" changes as well that were not stated.

Sadly, I’ve never owned the T29 and just recently purchased--but have yet to use--the KV-3.

Equally sad:  I started this game grinding German TDs and heavies--the very vehicles that are now getting significant buffs.  No wonder the game was so frustrating and my WR and damage numbers were so terrible early on.

Same here buddy. German heavies and TDs... So honestly I'm kinda happy for the nerfs to the OP russian tanks and the t29, but on the other hand, I was looking forward to playing them myself soon.

Yup I found that tonight too.  That also affects the KV-1S, T-34-85, and KV-13.

I still yet to see how this is supposed to make the T29 KV-3 and IS BALANCED when really WG just threw all three of them under a bus and ran over them.

Well, you cannot honestly deny that they were all 3 seriously OP.  One look at wotbs average stats for those tanks will reveal that. Even potatoes could occasionally be a threat in any of them. The is and kv3 still have the 100mm gun that has the same dpm (1868) and pen (175) as the 122mm did, just without the ridiculous 400 alpha. The 100mm is still 280 dmg, compared to my tiger's 220, and they are still arguably better armored.. So I personally think it makes the game more balanced, surprisingly. But sure, if those were your go-to stat padding tanks, I can see why people might be upset by the nerf. It makes me more excited about playing my tiger, but now I highly doubt I'll be getting any of the 3 nerfed tanks as quickly as I might have before.

Not that there aren't other tanks with balance issues (under and over powered), but those three certainly were at or near the top of the over powered list.

Eh, I wouldn't say that.  The stock gun got a little bit more pen, but that's it.  The 85 mm D5T-85BM is still the best gun choice for that tank.

Global stats or not.  I absolutely hate the IS series nerfs ... I'm consistently now going 1:3 1:4  &1:5 wins - platooned !!! - in the both the IS & IS-3 (which hadn't played mine for a while after earlier patch).

WR in both is dropping like a stone ... like I'm some clueless noob not knowing what the f I'm doing. Even playing more defensively then I used to. Lose. Draw. Lose. Lose.

But, I guess you'll take that as "working as intended, that's why we nerfed them" ...

Together with consistently being low tier in +2 battle. Well [.... ....]

Did you switch out for the D10T?  The lower alpha isn't thrilling but I've maintained my 62% WR post nurf including 5 wins(100%) tonight.  It's still a very playable tank IMHO.  I don't think I'll be seeing radleys and pools anymore but I still pull top guns frequently.  That said, WG feel free to find the undo button for the nurf.
