This. A whole bunch of randoms with 40% came in and flooded everything so decent players and forumers didn't win jack.

I'd say it's perfectly fine to give randoms some gold, make the contests seem unbiased since most winners are highly active forumers. And as for the 150 gold I could just support WG and buy me a tiny kit instead of having to work for it.

It is sometimes a wonder.  I got a Mastery badge on the M3 Light and didn't make the list.  Oh well, another day, more tanks to kill.

You realize this was a draw for basically 50% of all tier 3 battles played? That's a tank load of games. Odds are I would be surprised to see more that one recognizable name on the list.

This list includes people who are not forum members. Entry was automatic. The only requirement to get your name in the drawing was to earn any mastery badge in any tier III tank. As long as you have a wargaming account you qualify, no forum post or entry needed.

There were easily ten thousand plus entries.

 

Glad for those that won. Cool that some player just killing tanks for fun could get a little bonus.

 

Also, Tier of Duty is a far more amusing pun than it has any right to be.
