Hi I'm Lokeen medium tank addic*cough cough* I mean driver

 

Some of you may know me from the Tank Boom! Podcast with my good friend Lephturn, some of you may know me from battles we have shared either together or against. 

 

I've been playing world of tanks blitz for almost a year now and one thing I can say with all certainty is I LOVE THE MEDIUM TANKS! I have spent my fair amount of time playing all of the tank classes and lines and feel I have developed an above average sense of situational awareness ( SA ) and strategy comprehension. I've always been a gamer and as soon as I discovered WOTB it instantly became my only game. Like most players I spent the first "section" of my experience noobing-it-up running around solo with not much thought to things like SA, team work or strategy. I was pretty happy to be playing such a cool game where I got to drive around and blow up tanks! Lol. 

 

Once I realized there was a thing called a platoon I started to realize the benefits of playing with others and then my journey really began, and continues today. I've made many friends in this game so far, which I'm very greatful for, and each and every one of them has helped me in some way with a tip or trick or just a different way to assess a situation. This turned me on to the forums, and then to videos and guides which further helped me learn and improve my game play. 

 

There are far to many people to thank individually for helping or guiding me along this awesome journey that has been WOTB to this point but I feel driven to offer something back to the community that has helped increase my WOTB skill level and enjoyment.  So I've decided to start.....

I'm offering my services for 1 on 1 medium tank training. Simply post on this thread with your request for training whether it's medium tanks in general or a particular medium tank that your having trouble with and we can coordinate a 30 minute or 60 minute session to work on whatever you want!  I live about an hour drive north of Toronto Ontario so I'm Eastern Time and I do have Team Speak 3 for voice communication ( makes training much easier and more beneficial ) but silent training is also available and just fine. 

 

Now I'm not a Unicum player but I've been where you are and I know I can help!  So if your stuck in a rut or looking for something to take your medium driving to the next level drop a note on the thread and we can have some fun wrecking those reds!

Cool service. Could you just give me a few tips via this thread on the Centurion 1? I'm just credit grinding for it (see the "view new content" page for my comet "farewell" (NOT!) thread) and I would like a few tips, based on its current reputation. Thanks!

Holy [edited], as close as damnit to 13K battles? How much time do you have? I've been playing since the day of release and I've only chalked up 4.5K.

If you are new to the game and looking to learn some skills, i would highly recommend you take Lokeen up on his offer!

Hey man nice idea! Someday when you have the time I've been stinking it up in the E-50M could use some help,when you have a chance ,no big hurry I know your going to be busy!

Hahaha. Yeah like I said I've always been a gamer, not a TV guy

TBO I'd like to keep this thread to facilitating training as much as possible and there are many resources on the forums that have gone very in depth on the Centurion I. Also check out some videos if you have the time. It's time well spent. Spinee, Rukus and Bushka are great video people to name a few. 

 

What I can say is this, hull down as much as you can, always wiggle that weird turret when you're not firing and use your gun depression to your advantage. The hull armour is to weak to side scrape effectively so don't bother. 

 

Set your jaw, grit your teeth and buckle down, it wasn't fun for me but the 7/1 & 4202 are SO worth it!

TBH the idea came to me as an extension and merger of two things really. I'm a medium tank trainer for our Triarii members and our Triarii community is always looking to make WOTB better for everyone in general. Figured it was a win win

Hi thanks for the podcast - avid Listener. And cool idea to offer this   I would love some help with the t62.  I really rip it up In the t-54 but have had a real hard go playing tier 10.
