I could use some help with the 46 Patton, I'm OK in it.   And a lot of help with the Centurion 7/1.  I'm 1 hour behind you in the central time zone.

Happy to help with both of those.  I'm absolutely loving my Cent 7/1 and the Patton 46 is a great tier IX.  Send me a PM with some times that work for you and we will make it happen! :)

This is so generous of you, I sure hope the club wargamming guys notice this completely unselfish act, which in no way reeks of a club wargamming attention getting post.  :teethhappy:

Been considering my loadout for the E50 and E50m. Any thoughts on a few equipment loadouts? Here's a few of my ideas:

I use Multi, Single Repair, and Chocolate as consumables

Rammer, Vstab, Spall Liner (My initial idea)

Vents, Vstab, Spall Liner ( Works towards reload, view range, AND boosts spall liner and vstab.. )

Rammer, vstab optics (Concep's suggestion)

Rammer, suspension spall liner (On the fence about suspension)

Wondering if suspension is needed if running a spall liner. These tanks are the best suited for ramming, so why not give them the equipment that goes with their role? I understand the need for optics as a medium driver, but why not leave that to other mediums like Leo 1's and other scouts? I personally like the first two options, with the second choice being more of a creative idea in conjunction with Chocolate.

Tenks for reading,

Ray

I just decided to expand on something I do for the Triarii community. Why not offer it to everyone. If I can help someone avoid the pain and frustration I expecerienced my first 4000-5000 battles then yay! :)

....and yes I tend to learn lessons the hard way Hahaha.

Well ill here's my take on it.

I run run mutli repair, rations and adrenaline.

The logic is this - mutli repair I can use over and over in a battle so best return on credits spent. Rations combine with my vents for more boost to all crew skills and adrenaline, well that's obvious, I prefer to shoot them before they shoot me lol.

For equipment I run rammer, vents and v-stab.

Rammer I want to shoot as fast as possible, vents helps with all crew performance and v-stab because I'm almost always moving. If I'm not I'm surely moving my turret. Also I shoot as much as possible on the move so again I prefer the v-stab. I never run my mediums as "pure spotters" which is probably why my load out differs slightly from Conceps.

The only time I put optics on a medium is if there's no v-stab available as an option.

Now as far as ramming and running a ramming oriented set up I think my opinion differed from most medium drivers of the E50 and E50M. I never LOOK to ram. I treat ramming kinda like prammo, will it turn the tide of an engagement? Do I need to do it or can I accomplish my objective without it?

The reason is this basically, ramming damages you! Your mindset in a medium should be to NOT take damage, not trade damage to an emery for damage to you. I'm not saying ramming in an E50 or E50M is not a smart tactic, or even that they can't handle it, just that it's a tactic that I use in certain situations not just willy nilly running around ramming everything that moves.

Hope this helps and keep in mind it's only my opinion. Different things fit for different people. Good luck out there :)

Anytime! I'd be happy to help. Try hitting your home screen button on your tablet, quick switching to another app, and then quit switching back to blitz. It repopulates my friends list when I do that. Kinda like it kicks the app in the butt to refresh :)

Just finished a great session this morning with Chessredpanda. Great tanker and a ton of fun to run with. If you get the opportunity platoon with him. An up and coming medium driver with skills to watch out to be aware of for sure!

Good luck out there!
