The T-127 has 25% more armor.  An extra 10mm is huge in tier 3. They have the same gun, but the LTP is soft while an angled T-127 is super tough.

So it has better armor. Great. That suits the heavy play style well. Peek-a-boom away.

The LTP is also much faster. A hull traverse that is 18º per second better (20º per second combined). CoD away.

My point is that if the LTP suits your playstyle then it can be used just as effectively as the T-127.

Edit: Your edit'd point about the IS-6 is a whole different animal. That tank is special for pref mm. Since it has that you can't compare stats of the IS-6 to non pref mm tier VIII tanks. In fact, you should compare the IS-6 to tier VII heavy tanks.

You're just speculating. You don't have the T-127. I have both. The T-127 is one of the best in its tier, and the LTP is pretty bad. But don't take my word for it, check wotbstars stats. The T-127 wins 6% more, survives 10% more, does over 20% more average damage per battle and has over 25% better kill/death ratio. Those are big differences. On paper they might be close, but in game there is no contest. The T-127!is much better.

The same can be said for comparing a lot of heavy tanks to medium tanks.

It's worthless anyway

This is the original point I was arguing against. The LTP isn't worthless. Sorry for straying off topic. My bad.

The LTP may have a higher top speed, but the power to weight ratio heavily favors the T-127.  IMHO this is more important than top speed.

The LTP got the biggest nerf in Blitz history in my opinion.  It used to rock.... now it's just barely average.

Amazed nobody whines about that (considering the stuff they do whine about :-)
