An oxymoron quote in a game based on destroying the "enemy" across the map.  Sometimes this "destroy the enemy" mentality transfers into the game chat, after game interactions and message boards here, and I am sure I have been one of those that did just that (this is also an apology if you were a recipient!).  Over the years I have been the benefactor of some outstanding individuals who likely made a similar pledge here and committed to "First, do no harm" in their own words (and there are some great pledges that have been made!), and didn't see me as the "enemy", but another human they could help.  As I continue this journey in Blitz, I now make a pledge to do my best to help others and "assume positive intent" before I respond to those inevitable messages coming at me, my team or my clan.

Good Lord.  This thread has only gotten cheesier with time.  Seriously...a pledge thread?  Didn't work.  Forum has only devolved over time.  

 

I, Comrade Pike, he of the salty, hazy days of 2015, will continue to giggle at the people taking themselves...and this forum...way too seriously.
