I'll see if I can keep track of it all but it'll change so much it'll be hard to keep up to date.

I haven't explored too much and only maintain my IS / IS3 / IS8 line in T7-8-9. Makes for a slower grind especially this week without being able to play much except in the mornings. I've got my eyes on the IS7 but I'm going to be a week or more before I see that beast under my thumbs.

No T 10s yet. I am up to t-8 with a M 26 Pershing. Only about a day away from making it elite. A few days later and I will have the T9 Patton. I am elite on all US mediums except M4a38 Sherman. Love the Pershing and T 20. I have a Lowe but rarely play it. Still thinking about the T 34, still have til tomorrow. We will see. The grind takes much longer when you move up the tiers. Maybe the worst part is being a T 8 and going up against 9s and 10s.

It gets worse...since I got my T10 I've been on both sides of just incredible MM. Sucks the fun right out of it. 3v3 my E5 and IS3 and his pltd buddy in a 34-85 against an E100, JPZ 100 and his IS7 plt.

This was on copperfield so I got a running start and tried to see how far my E5 could fly as I jumped into the pit.

No sorry. I was trying to suicide to deprive the other team of my dmg. Turns out a 54 ton tank with an engine pushing out 875 hp isn't very aerodynamic. :(

As a topic for discussion what are the tanks you least like to engage. Personally, I do not like to go up against T 29s and any of the IS's. Their frontal armor is daunting. If you can't flank, you probably die, unless you have support. Even with the top gun in the Pershing you do minimal if any damage. Frustrating.

I fear nothing. Much. Sorta. Anyhoo, shoot the cupola or MG port on the Ami tanks, and anything with the least angle or lower glacias on everything else. I might end up dead-a-lot in the exchange, but can usually give as much or more than I take with careful aiming.

I watched someone do this on Copperfield a while back in a panzer (I think) I was close to getting a screenshot of them doing it but missed.  was hilarious to watch them do it.

Had this exact problem earlier today.  came down to one on one, my Easy8 vs a T29, couldn't get through their front armour and didn't have the space to get around them quick enough.  Ended up dying in the end.

Had a great time platooning with DrWylde tonight!

I've fought countless times, yet I've never met an adversary who could offer me what we Spartans call "A Beautiful Death." I can only hope, with all the world's warriors gathered against us, there might be one who's up to the task.

I was on TS3 but he never got on so I logged back into my clans. It definitely would have helped. There were some mistakes made that I could have easily coached him through.

I haven't had much luck getting on and probably won't be able to platoon until I get home again on Wednesday. Easier when I'm on day shift and over at camp at nights with a good internet connection! Right now I don't start work until 1830 and I'm not back in camp until 0630. We're not allowed to sleep at night- unlike just about every other fire department in the world- so I'm left with plenty of time to be creative and work on other things.

I'll see if I can get a good guide done on the T-29 tonight... perhaps help to de-mystify them so that you see them as an opportunity for easy credits instead of an easy exit to the garage!

I didn't realize he was struggling with it. No wonder he asked about it but never got on. I feel silly now lol.

Used TS3 with Str8 for about 2 hours today... very useful, enjoyed greatly - headgear works nicely, love the sounds... BOOM, BOOM, BOOM!

Sorry Whip, did not know you were on TS3.  That would have been great - really could have used your coaching as we raced around...

At this point, I'm comfortable with TS3.   So, if you use it, let's platoon!

Over the next couple nights I'm going to be cranking out banners for folks. I asked for slogans last week and a few guys posted them up here- but what would be best is if they sent them to me IM so I can find them easily without having to go back through the pages to find them hidden away.

As they are completed, I will IM them to you... though I've been sending them as an embedded image from now on I'll do them as both the image as well as a link. All you need to do is go into your signature edit (in settings under your name up top), click "center justify" and then the image button (next to the youtube button) and then paste the link there.

I have also noticed we're all putting different sub-text under the banner (for those who have it already) and as I mentioned to someone earlier I'm not ready to nitpick on it that much but at some point I think we'll agree on a decent format for particular info and we can configure it then so there is "some" uniformity.

Also, "Get off our lawn!" is kind of growing on me as a clan slogan for the banner... just in plain english. Not sure if I can set up a poll in an existing thread or not? I'll see!

(Edit: Yes, I can... but only on the first post. Fortunately it adds the poll at the top of the page.)

For reference I currently have all 9 T8 tanks.  I have also kept a few lower tiers elited and a couple of premiums in case someone is grinding something and wants to platoon.  Will be awhile before my first T9 and a long while before my first T10 I am guessing.

Currently I am pretty heavily focused on trying to learn an aggressive Medium style of play and have been rotating through my three T8 Mediums.  I think the Panther II might be the hardest tank for me thus far.  I will probably stay on this Medium kick until I feel I have learned something (an iffy proposition) with occasional forays into my T8 Heavies and TDs.  Eventually I will need to decide a couple of tanks to push toward T10 I guess, but I am back and forth about which ones at the moment.

I have also noticed something funny.  My aggressive style when it works has me doing 2-3k damage on many maps and ranging across the whole map.  (This kind of Dmg is normal for Twosp2 in Mediums I think, but new for me in Mediums).  One weird result of this or something else is that I am getting that thing where a team mate shoots you at the end of the match.  It happened to me four or five times last night in Mediums and I have never once had it happen in a Heavy, TD or Medium prior to this.  This was not happening before and I don't exactly understand why it is happening now.  It seems weird since it actually lowers their score and such.  I think it might be cause they don't like something about the way I am playing?  Maybe they think I stole a kill, though it was happening whether I got the last kill or not.  It might because of something I have posted here?  I dunno.  It's weird.

Anything better than mine.

Seriously now, the T29 is hard, especially in the hills. I also have a deep seated hatred for the T28, and everything tier IX and X.
