Well, if you need to know your own tactics... mostly good places to stop and pick off a few enemies while on the way to there, I'm stumped.

Just to be clear about the POLL... the slogan suggested is only for the banner at the top of this thread- not the individual slogans.
With that being said- if the "no's" or "what's" (who are actually clan members) have other suggestions then throw them out there and let's see where we end up. Right now, it's definitely leaning towards the proposed.

While I think it's funny, I really don't think that it describes us as a clan. GOmL is what crotchety old men say, our members seem to be some of the friendliest and most helpful people on the forums. Not grumpy and mean at all.

Okay boys- time to take a closer look into the IS3. This Tier VIII brawler is a very distinctive profile and in spite of intimate familiarity with the various weakspots should continue to command respect when in the hands of a good driver.
THE IS3
BELOW:
A few subtle differences exist between the various models of the IS3. The stock tank, like most, has its place but isn't the menace its upgraded versions are. There are also some subtle differences between the stock and upgraded turret armour that you should be aware of. Don't mind the machine gun on the roof- it doesn't actually make an appearance in BLITZ. It DOES, however, have the antenna- which represents an even tougher to penetrate turret.
A quick peek into the armor configuration on the top tier IS3:
USER FEEDBACK
I do have some feedback on the IS3. As many of you know, it has that piked front... I know most of you know this since when I asked about it (because I didn't know), many of you walked me through exactly what that meant. If an IS3 is angled on you, there's a good chance that the guy on the other end is new with it- or perhaps he's head on someone else. Either way, it does open up an opportunity on his front hull since both upper and lower glacis plates are relatively thin and depend on angles.
Mobility-wise... the IS3 does pretty well and can ramp up to a decent rate on the flat areas- a comfortable mid-30. Viewing distance is on the short side, and the gun takes about 12-15 seconds to load. Some guys address this by going with rations and vents- which cuts down the time significantly. In a head to head brawl with the IS3- I'm not going to lie I have taken some comfort in being able to take a few shots in the face while being able to place rounds in softer lower glacis plates- in a battle of attrition if we're starting nearly equal there's a good chance that I'll still be standing once the dust settles. With that said, I know that as mentioned above some guys are trying to keep my attention while someone works his way behind me.
You'll notice the spaced armour along the sides- above the tracks. This is a very nice protective layer and if I'm shooting at one I don't even bother. Rears are vulnerable but still steeply angled so you need to place your shots carefully.

Got the E-50. Think I will like it, but it's stock now so....
May keep working toward the T-54 while I upgrade the E50. It looks like a very cool tank.
I've heard great things about the E50... I read often that people upgrade to the 75 but like the 50 better. I've read the same things about the IS8 from the IS3 and the 32 from the 29... and the T62A from the T54.
Strange that it seems so consistent...

Message me in-game and we'll play T-62s. I had problems with 54s at first but then I got the hang of the 62 and now 54s don't know what him them.

Questions about how folks meet up to play with TS3:
Do you keep the TS3 app open in the Clan Lobby and wait while you play for someone to voice up?
Or, do you meet up in Blitz Chat as is currently the norm for a platoon mate, then open TS3 for match?
I open up TS when I plan on playing more than just a few games and I'll wait to see if anyone jumps in. I kinda assume if people aren't there then they aren't looking to platoon for a length of time or just want to solo

...and I'd sooner play the T28 instead of the T95.
Things that make you go "hmmmmmm...."
Just to be contrary, my 32 is better than my 29, my 103 is better than my 32, my E5 rules them all.

Hi guys. I'm coming late to the party but love the idea of Triarii. I'm 50 and enjoy working with a good team and community. I've enjoyed a number of fps games even though reactions aren't as quick as they used to be. Blitz is my first experience with wot. I signed the petition. What next? Hope to see ya in game soon.

Are they working out for you?
H taltos! Welcome to our band of merry gentlemen! I suggest that you download ts3 and we'll get you rolling with that, I'll send you the credentials then you can get cracking with the platoons!
Hey Eno,
Thanks for the welcome. PM'ed you for TS3 info. Looking forward to playing with some good team players. Right now I have T3 - 5 of all the nationalities tanks. I have T4 Hetzer for my only TD. I have T6 and 7 in American medium. I have done a little bit of random pub platooning. Hope to see some of you on the battlefield.
