Thank you twosp2!  I got my first platoons in with TS3 and won 6 out of 7 with twosp2.  It was a blast and so much more fun then pub'in it solo!  My win % jumped about 8% from that!  Hope to join more of you on the battlefield soon!

My thanks to Taltos and Eire. We had so good games tonight and I think we were pretty successful for the evening. Thank you gentleman and here's to many more successful foray's into wotb!

Whatever good you did with Eire I am quite sure to have wiped out a bit later.  We tried a bunch of combos, some of which worked.  We also played a bunch of maps trying to learn how to wolf pack in Pershings.  Though a great deal of fun it could have perhaps gone better at the beginning.  I think I kept pushing beyond my skill level.  We would also often end up too far ahead of our teams, who often seemed reticent to relocate based on the developing game. By the end though we were starting to get some very effective flanks and shoot and run strings going.  Was great fun.  Eire was saved from this insanity by my internet eventually crashing for awhile.

I must say, I just got my E3 and I'm absolutely loving this monster.

I've fought countless times, yet I've never met an adversary who could offer me what we Spartans call "A Beautiful Death." I can only hope, with all the world's warriors gathered against us, there might be one who's up to the task.

Has anyone else noticed that many of these "old guys" have battle counts that far outnumber many of the kids... I thought we all had mortgages to pay??  WTH am I doing wrong ;)

I gotta admit I let my 8 year old run my tanks on occasion. He's a lot better at it than you'd think.

I promise never to do that in a platoon.

Wow. Just...wow. What a horrible afternoon of tier nine battles. I was shot up the butt in my T95 more times than I can count, all the while waiting for camping and/or distracted meds and heavies to actually move forward. Or care just a little about the T54 that just blew right past them and is now behind me.

Strangely though, when I'm in the very similar T28 in tier 8 fights I seem to have far fewer of these problems. Except for the many horrible T34 and Lowe drivers that are waaaay out of their league, most players appear to comprehend flanks and support and we do really well as a team.

I dunno why the big difference today. Hangovers? Kids playing? Lobotomies? In any case, rant over, and bring on clans please!
