Well, try to see the positive side of this video. Probably it will be an achievement for Major when killing a unicom. This means that, he put a lot of respect towards them. I dont see any sort of humiliation here. In fact I also would be proud if I can kill any of these unicoms. Take it easy. Im pretty sure no one want to humiliate others. I know we are having a very rough week, but that doesnt mean we also can throw our feeling into this video. QB even did the same thing when he posted a video showing he killed other unicom in Wot PC. Well take it positive guys. It is NOT EASY to kill a unicom, real hard to do, and it is very scary to face them too...so I think this video will show us that they are also human too and can be defeated thus encourage us to fight better even when we see them in the red team (not running away, or say "im gonna yolo, they got unicom"). Peace guy..no butthurt, just my 2cent

I don't mind this video, I did pretty bad in the game I was in. It was my fault to camp back there anyway. But remember, no one has a 100% winrate for a reason. Not even in 100 battles for a tank (at least not that I know of).

In seriousness though, your only chance is to kill the unicum platoon. A long shot, but you can safely bet any amount of money that the enemy platoon will easily kill all five of your teammates without taking much damage. Your only chance is to take the enemy platoon headon and hope they get distracted shooting potatoes (or flank the enemy platoon, depending on which kind of tanks you/they are driving). The point is, your teammates will never beat an enemy unicum platoon, ever. The only reason that a unicum platoon ever loses is because an opposing platoon targets them, or their teammates commit suicide so quickly that it's 2v7 within the first couple minutes. There's no other reason.

I enjoyed the videos but you could have added Shia Labeouf motivation in the background so I can believe that I can beat the unicorns.

wrong. just because we're awesome doesn't mean we don't get outplayed by pubbies, nor does it mean we don't need our team to do a decent part of the work, or even that we don't make mistakes.

The point of this video is? Not trying to start here but everyone loses.Even the best of us. The only point I see you posting this video is to point out that you've beaten super unicums before. Trust me were not all that to warrant posting a video about us losing. IMHO, uncalled for and pointless.

actually, I'm more impressed when playing with a Uni on your own team and you outperform them. In a win of course.

I recently played a tier X game (pubby) in my Indian panzer. We won- Concep was on my side in his 62. I was top XP earner. He was second.

I'd say there are two major reasons we loose:

1) You are forced in a close combat fight and it's all about outdpming the opponent; you can't do much about it and that's what typically happens on the hill at Mines.

2) Your team spreads and dies one by one because enemy stay together; again you can't do much about it because wherever you go you still will be outnumbered.

Watch this video and you would see these patterns quite clearly.

in short, great players can't make up for bad team work and tactics. Kind of what I took away from the video and weekends in general ;)

Well, you can sometimes. I was able to pull out desperate games but it's rather exception than the rule. And that's where platoon power comes in: if you two confidently run together in one direction people are more likely to follow you; if you are running confidently alone you look more like an idiot.

Yeah, this is precisely it. I think when people go tank-to-tank without the flexibility of distance, it's practically impossible to avoid taking damage. No matter what damage ratio you put out, you're not going to get a 3-1 kill ratio if you're just banging reloads.

That's one reason I find myself interested in the unicorn experience. It's effectively a mix of situational awareness so that you don't get targeted, a lot of using your teammates as effective meat-shields, and a lot of repositioning to respond to the flow of each battle. It also requires the usual stuff - awareness of weapons and vehicle armor, effective targeting, timing, map knowledge, and the like.

One of my all-time favorite quotes was from Cary Grant. (For the younger readers, he was a movie star well known for his good looks and very dapper style.) An interviewer once asked him what it was like to be Cary Grant. He answered, "Everyone wants to be Cary Grant. Even I want to be Cary Grant."

I suspect the unicorns wish they could always be unicorns, but like all of us, sometimes they're donkeys. :-)

A) Even the best players die and lose.  That's why none of them have 100% Win Rates.

B) A video showing them dying/losing is petty.

4) Why isn't this in the Video Vault sub-forum?
