UPDATE: Tanks is downloaded, and i managed to play 2 games before my ping went to complete s***. i sent in a ticket to WG to see if they could help at all, but i don't know if they can. my ping during a game is no less than 1500, so i can't even play the game anymore. please help!
How old is your router and what brand is it?
You said tanks Downloaded slow, I have suspicions it's not your game that's slow but your router went to hell (they should be replaced every 3-4 years)
Also NEVER buy a linksys, they used to be one of the better ones but they took a massive dump and now are THE WORST you can buy so avoid linksys at all costs
