Blitz 2.0 Rockfield map preview

Hey everyone!  Here's a video created by yours truly, showing the changes to Rockfield 2.0! 

 

Thanks to Alexbuildit for the thumbnail :)

 

 

As you'll note, there aren't a whole lot of changes to this map in terms of the terrain, but a lot has changed with the flora (trees & bushes) and rock structures.  Enjoy!

 

EDIT: Info from CC_Sly below - Tier VIII and higher vehicles will no longer be able to play on Rockfield.

Great review and music choice, Cheez! :) +1 for you as always

 

What really worries me is that in RU news they posted that NO vehicles tier 8 and above will be able to see this map anymore. I hope they made a typo or something...

Hmm, I haven't seen anything saying that.

 

And thanks for the songs comment.  I had a BUNCH more songs with "Rock" in the title but couldn't fit them in.  Songs with "Field" in the title are harder to come by. :)

One of my favorite maps. Not sure I like what I see as far as changes.

Not as big a deal as Oasis but looks like balancing was done to the map...

I can confirm this. Tier VIII and higher vehicles will no longer be able to play on Rockfield.

thank god. Nothing scares me more than E3s and Obj 268s kemping behind the bushes

This is something new - low tiers were limited to some maps, but not HIGH tiers. What's the reason to limit them?

it was OP b/c there were bushes that made spotting almost impossible

I saw another review that said the area on the hill side of the cap was a little larger.    What was your impression of that?

EDIT: Sorry, was thinking of Oasis Palms, wrong thread.

 

I didn't notice any enlargement of that part of the map.
