I can confirm this. Tier VIII and higher vehicles will no longer be able to play on Rockfield.
I assume that the map is too small.
That was the explanation given in the RU forums. That because Rockfield is so small and high tier tanks have such longer view ranges, battles were stagnant.

Well, anyways on Rockfield everyone is going to the bunkers and it quickly becomes boring. The same thing actually with WM, but to the lesser extent--everyone goes to the windmill. I could only say that low tier games have more variability on these maps because people are not so dogmatic (Yes, people do fight in the swamp!).

You're joking, right? Please tell me you're joking.
Groovy.

I guess I'll rarely see it....

SPARTA
The changes to terrain are significant considering how smoothed out many areas look. I'm not sure how exactly that will change things but we'll find out.
I'm still curious about the viewpoints and shot windows between the low and high areas. At points in the video there seems to be more chances for tanks to hit a few shots from the low side.
When WG included these two vids (thanks to you both for sharing them) in the news release the music seems like it is on dicey ground. Does that constitute fair use once a for-profit entity uses them? Not an attorney.

Trust me, I've been around the block on Youtube many many times. Back in the Rock Band / Guitar Hero days when I was posting videos constantly, and as a musician myself who has licensed my own music, I got VERY familiar with the music license laws regarding YT vids.
Everything is kosher here.

Gotcha. I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night and I'm married to an attorney so I have enough legal knowledge to be wrong and dangerous.

Nobody knows yet how Clan Wars are going to work, or at what Tiers those battles will take place. So I'm going to say yes, there's a chance.
