Attention! Recruiting is currently open. Due to the 50 member limit, we have filled up SPARTA with a great group of tankers. However, we continue to get requests from promising-looking potential recruits and have therefore decided to extend the clan with [-SRT-] -SPARTA-. This is NOT a "feeder" clan, nor is it intended to be second-tier to SPARTA. Our recruiting requirements will remain in effect.
How to join SPARTA:
- Contact a Spartan officer or post in this thread to express your interest in joining SPARTA. Let us know if you will have any limitations on your Teamspeak usage. Also tell us your age and anything else you wish to share about yourself.
- We will review your qualifications and let you know if you will be considered as a potential recruit.
- The next step will be to join SPARTA's Teamspeak server to chat with an officer. We will have a brief conversation before giving you tags on Teamspeak. If required, we can set up a time when an officer can meet you on Teamspeak to get this done. The Teamspeak tags will give you access to our server's channels and identify you as a recruit to our members.
- After getting your Teamspeak tags there will be a trial period. During the trial period, please platoon with a variety of SPARTA members while on Teamspeak. These platoon sessions are for us to get to know each other and for you to find out if you enjoy platooning while using Teamspeak. After a successful trial period (in terms of attitude, Teamspeak participation, etc.), you may be granted full membership.
Requirements:
(1) Win rate at 60%+ with 3,000+ battles.
-We understand this is not an ideal measurement of skill, but unfortunately we cannot accept everyone. We may make a determination based on WN7 or WN8 as well. Meeting the above requirement will not guarantee acceptance into Sparta as we will also take other factors into account, including but not limited to number of battles, damage statistics, and the various ratios.
(2) Use of TeamSpeak3 and to be active in-game.
-We use TS3 for in-game communication and expect that clan members will participate. TS3 is available for free on PC or the clan can provide you with TS3 for iOS devices. It is expected that members will use TS3 on a regular basis, preferably at least a couple times a week. We expect members to be active both in-game and on TeamSpeak. Inactive members' clan membership may be subject to review.
(3) At least 21 years of age, a good attitude and an ability to get along with others.
-Good attitude and not having a big ego are the most important characteristics we look for. If you do not have a good attitude, then this is not the place for you no matter your stats or unicum/superunicum status. Also, while we understand that there are likely many very good/mature younger players, we feel we must restrict membership to those 21 and over. Additionally, trolling or negativity is highly frowned upon by the clan and will not be tolerated.
