My clown tank is faster on other maps I have about 800kills with my 1776 probably more then any tier 8 you have and it makes me well over 1.2 mill credits a day so as for it being a clown I bet you wish you had it

Ya know, playful trash talk is all well and good, but you at least need to have the stats to back it up if you're going to try a comment like that.

You have 797 kills in your 1776 after 1168 battles, which is an average of 0.7 kills per battle, with a 49% WR in that tank.

Squib has 1261 kills in his IS-6 after 889 battles, average of 1.42 kills per battle, with a 75% WR in that tank.

Squib also has a T34, with 266 kills after 145 battles, average of 1.09 kills per battle, with a 61% WR in that tank.

Great joshing in here.

As for new oasis.. Love it! I drove past the mosque once, started hearing a call to prayer.. Pretty neat, brought me memories. Now every time I'm on it, I just go there

The speed of heavies on the oasis map is the key question here.  I think oasis has soft sand and terrible terrain resistance.  I feel my heavies with poor terrain resistance travel even slower on this map.  For the love of all that is holy mediums, please don't make us follow you into the dunes on this map.  We get surrounded and swarmed by enemy mediums out there.  It's a trap!

I was blinded and dazzled by all the yellow on the new Oasis Palms. My first thought was that the entire map could be damaged by high-explosive ammo.

New oasis map is awesome! Ithink its now my favorite map for sure! (My old one was desert sands). It feels much more bigger now it's just the perfect map for mediums. I play with the Indien and I can easily go from sniper to flanking support and run away if I'm in a bad spot. Lots of small rolling dunes and no more ridiculously slow to climb huge dunes, and no more op sniper positions. You have lots of cover with the dunes, but no real place where you cannot hide from all directions. I don't know how a slow turretless TD our Heavy driver would feel about the map, but I really like it.

Flank to either side and use the dunes. They are smaller on the side with the tents, but there are plenty of spots on both sides.

I've played the new Oasis Palms in all tank types now.  Sure, it's probably the most fun in a Medium, but that can be said about almost all of the maps purely due to how fast you can reposition yourself.  A Heavy or TD usually has to pick an area of the map to fight in, and commit fully to it.

Is the new map not as fun for TDs?  Sure it is.  Because they can't set up a campsite and sit in one spot the whole game sniping at the entire map.  But they shouldn't be able to either.  That's why the map was changed.

I really like the changes so far for Oasis. Used to be my least favorite map and now it is one of my favorites.  Haven't seen the new Rockfield yet which is strange because I played a lot yesterday.

Agree with gffcom, there are plenty of spots to hull down.  Heck, you can even go down into the trench to hull down in order to take advantage of the great gun depression.

Because, when it comes down to it....

math.

My T34 is far from my best tank, but it makes mad cash.  Kills are low but that's something I struggled with early on and am trying to pull out of the gutter.

New Oasis seems to be a dogfight arena, heavys can best support their mediums at a short distance away to wolfpack the reds.

And since kills don't get you any credit bonus, just keep doing all the damage you can.  Damage = credits. :)
